How to cook cabbage
My mother in law is in the hospital. I want to have dinner ready for my wife when she gets home. I have some sausage here that looks like kielbasa, and a head of cabbage. My wife does something with such a combination in a frying pan that is really good. Sounds low carb to me, too. Any advice on how to prepare a meal out of this stuff would be greatly appreciated.

Hay, I just start by putting some coconut oil in a fry pan and put in the shredded cabbage. After it gets soft add the sausage links and season with some onion/garlic powders and Lawerys/pepper. it's tasty and doesn't need to cook long. The cabbage is soft like noodles or sauerkraut.

I put the sausage first get it giving up it's oil, then put cabbage,onion,garlic,red/black pepper, salt.Cover for a while then brown.Careful with the seasoning as the sausage I use is highly seasoned.I love it,DH not so much.

I browned the sausage with a little oil and butter, and seasoned it with "Tony CheCheres." I tossed in the cabbage an onion with a little garlic salt. It was good and my wife didn't have to cook it. Thanks, y'all.

Yes, while my wife isn't practicing my woe, she will eat what I cook, sometimes she gets herself some bread.
