First Step in the Right Direction
OK, I joined on the first day of the year. Weight was 260. Had already started exercise program, three days a week at the gym, added low carb lifestyle. Never really did induction, just jumped into an OWL way of eating. Progress is a little slower, I was prepared for that.
I've lost my first five pounds, down to 255, and my clothes are already starting to fit better . I'm up to 3.25 miles combined on the elliptical and the treadmill (planning to participate in a 5k this spring). May do a little better on the diet in the next few months, my son just left for basic training, so there were a few little celebrations in the way. My weights are light, fifty lbs (weight of a hay bale) to "I can't lift it again." |

Good job and you have your groove. Slow and steady is the way to go. Good luck to your son and his new adventure. My granddaughter is in the Navy and stationed in Hawaii. She studying to be a Korean interpreter. Who would have thunk it. LOL
Keep checking in. Love to hear your progress . |
