First Step in the Right Direction
OK, I joined on the first day of the year. Weight was 260. Had already started exercise program, three days a week at the gym, added low carb lifestyle. Never really did induction, just jumped into an OWL way of eating. Progress is a little slower, I was prepared for that.
I've lost my first five pounds, down to 255, and my clothes are already starting to fit better:jumpjoy:. I'm up to 3.25 miles combined on the elliptical and the treadmill (planning to participate in a 5k this spring). May do a little better on the diet in the next few months, my son just left for basic training, so there were a few little celebrations in the way. My weights are light, fifty lbs (weight of a hay bale) to "I can't lift it again."
