Gonna look at Safeway tomorrow to see if they have the almond flour again, the smaller size bag is big enough, but if they don't have it, I'll have to look into making the stuff myself, don't want to though. I also need that whole wheat pastry flour, but that the local natural hippie food store usually has some in those bins out in the back of the store, lol. Along with the fruit with flies on it, "organic", lol.

i did a planned carbage indulgence, and was just going to post that with the carb count, but i see from Mary's lead that's not necessary. so here it is, full disclosure -- we're celebrating my hubby's bday this week, and he wanted to make pizza, so he did.
B: tea & HWC ~ 3 g L: SF cran juice 20 g D: kale salad with apple, avocado, pepitas and tahini dressing hamburger pizza with white WW crust 82 g 118 g net carbs 1628 net calories no cigar on the cals, but it's maintenance for me, so i won't pout. it will be a few days before i burn off those carbs, so i'll just have to be OK with a few pounds of water weight gain until then. i don't mind that near as much as achey wheat knees and carb hangover. :P |

Mary, what brand of turkey bacon do you enjoy? I used to get the "Louis Rich" kind, but we switched to "Oscar Meyer" lately. My dh swears he can tell the difference
It's still so darned cold, I'm wearing a sweater and warm socks and slippers in here, even though the heater is blasting and woodstove fired up. |

Hey Doris, will post my menu later...just wanted to answer your question. I far prefer Butterball low sodium turkey bacon. I can tell the difference between the various brands amd, in fact barely tolerated the taste of turkey when I started eating it. I tried several brands, looking for the lowest calorie-wise and taste-wiseand finally decided on the BB...the same with turkey sausage, I prefer Jimmy Dean...and can barely tolerate any other brand. Still can't find an Italian or Polish turkey sausage that's worth eating. Being the beef/pork eater I am, I'll stick to the "real Stuff." BBL

John is still having some diarrhea but will see the doc next week. Sure glad he likes to cook. I think my cooking has suffered since I have been alone and have not cooked very many things. I tend to get stuck on left overs for the most part.
Come on down Michele. He will cook. I think he is going to be frying the fish at church for our FISH FRIES this lent. Saturday: 1/2 decaf black coffee Brunch: 1 egg, toast, bacon orange 6:00: grilled hamburger patties, onions & mushrooms satueed in OO, salad, wine Snack: pecans, CF diet soda
