Feeling good, got the walk in today...one mile in 15 minutes so will be looking to increase distance with the new year.

Monday's Eats UD
Feeling good, got my mile + in today in the sunshine and a stroll through Wally World & Target...was carried away last night and it turned into a MD...blackberry trifle and popcorn. Starting over tomorrow with an UD, so almost four in a row.
B. coffee/half & half, trop 50/crystal light mixed, 2 eggs, 2 oz ham and a couple of Carbquik pancakes S. yakimandu & a couple grapefruit segments, later 3 oz BBQ ribs, 1/2 cup black-eyed peas and 3, yep count'em, 3 corn muffins....decided to start New Year's day menu early. pinot grigio 1700 kcals and a whole buncha carbs

I wore my ped today and got in 1708 before starting to hurt. So that's a beginning. I'm going to do the only until I feel the pain then stop until I get my steps to 10,000. MM you are my inspiration. Have a wonder New Year!

Sharon, I wear my step counter watch all day. I only take it odf when I shower. So it catches all steps, not just the formal ones where I am exercising. I find it encourages me to get and walk for something instead of asking someone to get it for me.

Yep, I agree...good to be back in the groove on the food. Sunny disposition and sunny outside. feeling up, maybe it's just knowing it's the start of a new year....now I gotta get thru this month and a couple of downers and I should be on the mend.

Oh Mary, what a reminder, my Dad used to have the best Meyer lemon tree, when we lived in Sunnyvale, used to pick up bags of fresh lemons every year, so good and free, of course, is the perfect price.
My dh has tried to grow citrus up here in a container, thinking maybe he could keep it alive in the garage, with coverings, but they never lived through it, one lived 3 years, but that was it. If we move, we will be sure to have citrus again though, at least lemons. Have you ever grown a lime? |
