Linda - thanx for starting us off for the morning and I am posting Monday night, too, as I need to leave really early on a plant buying expedition Tuesday morning.

Thanx for you kind words for Laurie's mother, too. That woman is a saint. I don't know what we would do if she were not there caring for Laurie. They saw the doctor this afternoon and the doctor thinks it may be a urinary tract infection causing the bleeding as laurie was on such heavy doses of antibiodics, they probably killed off the good as well as the bad bacteria. So she is back home awaiting the results of the bloodwork and urine analysis.

I spoke with her late this afternoon and she sounds far more upbeat than our son does.

I really do appreciate all the kinds thoughts and prayers.

Begete, I am sure everyone is feeling so uneasy about this, can't imagine it, Laurie is sure hanging in there, and her mother, my goodness, what a place she works for, that they don't seem to understand how awful this is, going to work would be heck for Laurie's mother at this point. Doggone it!!

Thanks for beginning our day, Linda, and that's an amusing picture and seems true, also, lol.

We will be gone early in the morning also, spoke to someone from Liberty, they say we should get some meds tomorrow, but the new prescription won't be available until sometime in June, so I will mix and match stuff to make it work out.

Take care, friends, and I hope those of you who can't sleep will be able to catch some winks.

I caught them last night,Doris and they were good.lol (winks)
Glad Laurie didn't have to return to the hospital where all the germs are.
Doris, why the change of meds. all the time?
Linda,my Si. looked just like that kitten, one night he stayed out pass 11 and I never found him again.Guess the night animals got him.As our area gets older and we are not as active, the animals get braver and get closer.

Checking in. SO sorry for your DIL Begete. Sure pray for an end to this infection and good health for her. Yes she is blest to have her mom right there for her.

Leaving tomorrow for Evansville, graduation for oldest DGD, Beth, my youngest son's birthday and also on Friday my grandson, Connor's birthday. Gifts all around.
Won't come back for a few days but will bring lap top along. It is Beth's 8th grade graduation and she is getting a cell phone from her mom and dad. She is VERY excited about that.

Love the thought in that lead off cartoon, Linda. Thanks for the laugh.

Good morning,

Thought I'd pop in early but it got late on me. Maggie will be here any minute for another day of thrills.

Hope you all have a great day.

Checking in to say hi to everyone, and Begete, I'm thinking positive thoughts for Laurie and all the family. She has been through such an ordeal. I can remember when my daughter was in TN in the hospital with an infection and I was here with DH going through chemo and radiation. It was a stressful time. I'm so glad her mother is able to be there with her. Hope everyone has a great day. Its beautiful here on the nature coast. Glenda

A terrific Tuesday is wished for all today.

Slept in very late so it will be "chasing my tail" day around here. Oh well, it has been quite the while to sleep so late in the morning.
Muggy, muggy and muggy some more all ready so that tail chasing will be a slo-mo scene.
Still pretty making in the kitchen but need to let it alone and move on now- big problem of mine is to keep fussing but I need to work on the other side of the kitchen which is just as long but no window or stove. And yes! everything I took out of the counters on the sink/window side of the kitchen is piled high in the dining area. Also a huge bag of Mom's sewing items (and I mean leaf bag size) is now sorted and laying on the carpet in front of the picture window. Need to find a drawer to store all of that.
Let the "TAIL CHASING" begin. I do not remember who said that last week but as you can see it stuck in my brain.

Prayers for Laurie and her wonderful Mom.

Tummy having a real conversation with me so I need some breaky.

My DGD and her BF just left..on the next leg of their journey north. This afternoon/evening, they'll get to her dad's (my son) in So. Carolina. Will stay there for a day or two and then onward.
Before they left this a.m., I went to my annual eye doctor appt and for the third year in a row, no change in vision or forming cataracts. So, that's out of the way for now. Next have to look into hearing problem. I wonder what will be next!
Lainey, where are the pics of your yard and outside views of your house? We're waiting!
Begete, keep us up on the latest regarding Laurie. I'm glad she seems optimistic.

lol Julie! I will be taking the "smart card" into the Rite Aid tomorrow to make a disc. I hope they come out as the window may have put too much light and trying at night made it awful dark even with the flash- we'll see... a real amature here.

Time to move my bones! Need to leave this computer for the day at least.

Wow! You guys have been busy already up to 11th post and I am just getting here.

Begete, Many prayers going up for Laurie and her dear Mom. Praying for a smooth recovery. Yes Gladys is right glad she is home and not at the hospital to pick up any more germs.

Michele and Anne, too bad we couldn't have all gone to the movie together, that would have been Fun.

Julie, Good news on the eye check-up. Have you ever had a hearing aid? I use one, not all the time though.

Yes, Lainey, we are waiting for pics. I wouldn't know how to do that photo work either. Low tech here.

Glad to have today off after a day at work I seem to need a day to recover. This morning I had a lovely soak in the tub with slow tempo music and felt much better.
It has been fine rain today with some thunder bumpers but no big storm unless that comes later. I was hoping it would hold off today as the DGF I saw the movie with on Sunday is moving to her new home today.
It is so quiet today after the hustle and bustle of work yesterday and the hype of the long weekend. All the poor workers returned back to work, it has been so quiet I have heard the birds singing all day even with my hearing problem so some of them are happy.

Prayers and Hugs to all and hope to bbl...

Well, I'm back

Had a good day at the casino...won a little, lost a little but came out ahead.

I got my microwave pressure cooker today...been waiting 10 days or so, and it came without directions...oh poo! I was able to download basic instructions from the web but can't find any recipes. Reported it to the Q but it will take another 10 days or so to get them. Oh well, guess I shouldn't have ordered it anyway but it looks like a good 'un for a single person. Will let you know how it works...there are a lot of negative reviews that I didn't see before I bought it.

Hope your day was good...mary
