Walked for about an hour at the riverfront park. Came home and walked the dogs, not much but some movement.

It probably is not a good idea to walk on dead grass. It will probably come back though with some watering. They say that grass can survive.

Thanks Doris for keeping us healthy. Very hot here today and no walk scheduled.

Spent the weekend sitting as my PT recommended and now I'm sore from doing nothing! So today I will do some bike time here in the living room along with all my PT stretches.

I think I'm going to work up a series of upper body exercises I can do sitting so I don't aggravate my feet, too. I have various weights I can use so it's just a matter of getting a list made of what I can do while sitting that will be efficient and worth doing...

That should be fun for you Linda to plan those exercises.

I just walked the dog today nothing too strenuous. I was tired after supper worked today and was up extra early.

PT today, one hour is what it's working out to with the bike, Total Gym squats, knee lifts and presses and the new upper body workout, band and hand bike. Put only one mile on the pedometer, so will have to work on that

About a 4 mile walk today. Exercise workout upper and lower body.

Might not have a chance to do much in the way of exercise for the next few days, except for some butt sitting at graduation and eating out.

It's ironic, I walked all over Wal Mart, from end to end and in between, looking for batteries for my Pedometer, lol. They didn't have the right ones, so will look in Reno next week in a sports equipment store, or buy a new Pedometer, with batteries that are easier to come by.

That's all I did today, otherwise, sat in the car, chattered with dh about nonsense, etc.

Back to "normal" tomorrow.

Yes, Doug, lol, pushing that cart around does begin to "get" to you, after awhile .

Did 2 hrs. 40 min. bike time, 8 lb. weights and squats, and sideways dancing to 50's music. That's it.

Doris sometimes I find the batteries for my pedometer in the watch department.
I usually buy them at the WM.

Managed a nice long walk this am in Newburgh, IN. but not sure how far I went.

Glad to hear you are safe and where you should be, Loretta. Yes, I began at the watch dept., they didn't have it, sent me to hearing aid dept., and then they sent me to the diabetic monitor dept., and they sent me to electronics, didn't have it, could be I need to get a more modern pedometer, with easier to find batteries. Will look in Reno, more stores close together there, and they have sports stores.

Thanks!
