Anne, I would like to say that you are a beautiful jewel in the crown of this board. Holding this board in one hand and the hands of the extremely ill and their families in the other is a profound act of kindness that truly must be so very sad and difficult. May G*d BLESS you and keep you safe for all of us.

Today is more work on the PASSPORT and finally dive into the planting that is sorly needed.

Thank you Lainey, you humble me. Ya'll are my rock...really. With as little time as I have for socializing lately it is good to know ya'll are there. So to speak.

Yesterday was cold. We didn't have winter all winter but yesterday felt like a winter day. Poor Maggie had to stay inside most of the day and that did not please her too well. I am feeling more rested today so maybe we will have a better day. I hope so.

Better get my act together and hope I don't forget where I put it!! LoL.

Just a few of my Mom's favorite things.. flowers but Lilacs most of all, the Hudson River Valley, all animals but more importantly her 'gandpups', the color purple, a cool breeze on a fall day, her cup of coffee in the morning, chocolate covered cherries, the Christmas holiday and reading us The Grinch, pumpkin picking with the family, the movies Dr. Zhivago and Remember The Titans, music by Celtic Thunder, QVC and shopping in general, and just cuddling up with a good book was most likely her favorite past time. My Mom once told me... "the hardest part about dying isn't that you are not going to be around anymore... it's that you might be forgotten". We will never forget you "Grammy" and will love you for always!! ♥

Thank you for sharing that, Anne. Bernice was always so proud of her family and dearly loved her "little people with fur". I for one will never forget her even though over the past few years we had some "differences" that caused our friendship to cool. Very unfortunate.

I am so saddened by her passing. Even though many of us have had disagreements over the years, we sure have been together a long time...and losing any of us hurts.
