I am new here. I just joined. I am trying to lose some more weight but it is coming off very slow.

I am not sure what I am to do. Should I post my weekly menu? I do need some encouragement. I am a diabetic, on insulin 4 x a day. I need to lose some weight and thought this might help me.

Evie

Hi Evie, my dh is diabetic, uses insulin 4 times a day, also. Welcome to our little group!

We each post our daily menu each day, but the new thread starts once a week, so post each day when you can.

Weight comes off slowly, that's life unless you do something drastic. Do you have a good dietitian and doctor to help you, keep you on your toes, so to speak? That is what keeps us moving along, but we have our ups and downs, and are accustomed to it, it's not unusual.

Tuesday's foods

B: at the school, spanish omelet and lots of black coffee

L: Sara Lee wheat bread sandwich, turkey and hummus. 2 H/B eggs bowl of spinach and black olives black coffee

Snack: walnuts and sugar free cappaccino, and black coffee

D: leftover steak from Saturday, and platefull of brussel sprouts and carrots, asian flavor. black coffee

Evening snack: Healthy Choice frozen dairy product on a stick, and no sugar added applesauce. black coffee

Hi Evie and welcome. Have you decided on a plan to follow in your weight loss journey. That would help. Can your dietician help in any way?

We post our menus daily. We all seem to have tailored one plan or another to fit our needs.

Tuesday: 1/2 decaf black coffee, Brunch: hb egg
2:00: orange 4:00: banana w pb & beans
6:00: out for volunteer supper with the Hospice group.
I chose Chicken for my main course.
Snack: if needed, CF diet soda

Yes I do Michele. AFter I make my french toast with lavash I usually have some egg left over. I turn off the pan and put the left over egg and let it set until it is done. It is very thin, like a crepe. After it cools, I put about a tablespoon of cream cheese mixed w vanilla and sweet N low on the crepe. I eat it cold most of the time, the next day.

Loretta, remember Henry, who posted on here until he passed away? He used to make crepes out of eggs in a pan, and freeze or refrigerate them, and then stuff or roll them up with either sweetened or savory fillings, too. I think he would make a dozen at a time. I miss him, he had alot of different ideas.
