Good morning to all.
Oatmeal with cinn/rasins and country crock is waiting all cooked. Coffee about gone but enough left to take my Janumet and anti-depressent. (going to ask for a lower dose of the last one). Love starting to feel like me olde self.
Today is hair wash day and a long walk that is over due a bit. My portions are cut in half so I should see a better weight loss result pretty soon. Over cast but I have not checked the weather as of yet or news really either. bbl You all have a good day today. e.

OMG Jezzie, I have seen those flower arrangements before but never knew anyone that received one. She must have been thrilled. Soooooooo cute.
These florists and such are just so creative and talented types.I really admire them. Another sunny mild day again up here. I am very grateful for that. Yes, Michele, it is so good to be getting out doors again. I was getting nervous that I had developed a mild case of agoraphobia as I had not been motivated to get out of the house for weeks. I am glad to hear your cold is on the mend. Do take the time to rest and heal so as not to relapse while in recovery. I know mother hen.... How did you enjoy the soup last night? Lainey, enjoy your oatmeal, sounds yummy. Kudos to you for keeping at it with those walks. If you do end up cutting down on those meds, gradually weaning is always best to lessen any withdrawal symptoms, just my humble opinion. Gotta get a few chores done and plan to get out again this aft. Hope to check back later...

Hi, I see I'm already missed "Good morning". I've read a couple days postings. Better health wishes to those with colds, etc.
Many thanks to those who asked about me. I have been home, mostly in bed with the same ailments plaguing me. I don't like to come here everyday and talk about it.....the same ole, same ole. It appears the bone infection is spreading. My vacation excursion takes place, beginning on March 9th. I wish everyone a good day - good meals, good outings and someone to say 'hi' to. |

I wasn't aware of those sorts of creative florist arrangements, it is really adorable.
Went and found a recliner for DH. Haven't picked it up yet. Going out tomorrow with friends who are good at decorating, to get some things for the house, as in vases/greenery/pictures, etc. Shopping again at very low end places. I'm enjoying doing it. ![]() Another nice day, high 70s right now. Jezzie, I ordered a book from Amazon, Caleb's Crossing, it sounds really good. I'll let you know. I'm doing two books now (never thought that would happen) Nicholas Sparks, The Best of Me and God is not Great by Hitchins. Guess I should put that info on the reading forum. DH is finishing up the upholstery on the kitchen chairs. There were only two and he got one done yesterday. They look so nice, plus we used new foam to make them a bit higher for me at the table. Going to hit golf balls later and then cocktails with the "people" we don't like. That situation is getting better as we are not seeing them at every turn, long time inbetween get togethers is the key. ![]() Ginny |

Good morning -
DORIS - We will be in Sacremento/Redding/Corning area Feb 25 or 26. I know I have asked you before, and I think you are too far east for an easy get together, but thought I would ask again. Jezzie - just beautiful and so unusual - never saw anything like them. Verleen - sorry your bone disorder is spreading. I know what you mean by not posting because same old/same old. That's why I haven't posted for a while. First I had that awful virus and then DH caught it, so one of us has been in bed almost our entire vacation! Ginny - what requires you to spend time with people you don't like? Susan - have you decided to take up snowbirding? Lainey - howw long are your long walks? Michele - hope your recovery is a fast one.

Just a quick post since I'm still at work.
Jezzie, you're going to be 1.7 miles from my house, though I'll probably be at work by then. Sending positive thoughts your way. Love the flower arrangement. Best to everyone, -Louise |

Hi all,
Another rainy day. Went to check out the new JoAnn's Fabrics the next town over. I make alot of quilts for charity and they were having a 50 percent off sale on batting. My plan for the rest of the day is to sit by the fire and read "Mothers of Invention" which are true stories taken from diaries of slaveholding women in the south and what they did to survive during the Civil War. It's quite a fascinating read and while it's completely factual it's not at all a dry read. A mug of chai tea with some cream and the rest of the afternoon is perfect. Dottie |
