Exercise Week, Move It!! Feb. 5 - 11
Just getting this week started folks.
Let's all do what we can, even dance a Jig! Remember when we had to do that in school? (Maybe my school was different, lol). Square Dancing, did anyone have to do that in school? That was a real workout. See you on Sunday, Lord Willin' and the Creek Don't Rise. Doris ![]() |

Aw, I used to shoot baskets with the boys in years past, fun times and lots of laughs. We ruined a tree, the tree is huge now, but never grew while the boys were out there, it was planted first, but the basketball hoop thingee was placed near it, accidentally squashed the poor tree, over and over.
3 hrs. 15 min. bike time, squats with weights first, then without. Jack's chair stuff. That's it. Doris |

Loretta, I have had about 3 different operations on my left foot over the years. My problem a few years ago was gout until I got on Allopurinol but now it is in the ball of the left foot that I have had the operations on.
One thing leads to another. ![]() 45 minute walk, 2 short walks with the dog, upper body workout Doug |

Well heck, Doug, sounds so very painful to me. Darn it!
2 hrs. bike time, weight bar and squats without weights, the rest is for fun only today. Behind schedule..............due to "life". Doris |

We had a great weekend with Baby Ruth (and her parents!)...she is such a joyful child! And she wants to run....just can't figure out how to walk quite yet.....but she wants to go fast! LOL!
Kettlebell classes this week were killers but I loved them! DH is having knee surgery tomorrow and I'll have house guests this weekend so I won't get much time for workouts. |

Oh Linda, wishing your hubby well with that knee surgery tomorrow! Are your houseguests going to help you take care of hubby this weekend, or keep him "occupied" is enough, to help pass the time? Sounds like you really are keeping things moving along there.
Since we went down to the valley town, only got 1 hour done on the bike, soccer rerun was on this evening. Walked "smartly" all over Costco and WalMart, especially since lots of things had been moved from where they used to be to clear over on the other side of the store, lol lol. That's it, see you tomorrow. Doris

Thinking about you and your DH surgery Linda. Will he stay in the hospital while the guests are there. You will be pretty busy if not.
Usual workout day for me. Colder here lately. |

Loretta, how are things going with that broken bridge? Are they working on it, or what has happened with that?
Did 2 hrs. 45 min. today, and line dancing, and that's it. Had to hurry to the other town to take our tax stuff in, important stuff that needed to get done. They are working on the little highway, so it took longer to get through. Doing squats in here, but without weights. Linda, that is sure a strange tree!! ![]() Doris |

Thanks, Everyone! Surgery went well and he's settled on the couch watching TV and he has his laptop, too. He has crutches to get around but will probably only have to use them a few days...after that he can walk but can't go back to work for a few weeks. I got a lot of exercise at the hospital...while he was in surgery I had to take some paperwork to the dr's office which is at one end of the hospital, then back to the cafeteria at the other end of the hospital to get a drink, then back to surgery waiting area....all the while carrying my 2 ton purse and a bag with the laptop in it!
My brother and family are just visiting....it will be fun but hectic because we're all invited to DH's sister's house for a party on Sat.

Linda, Glad to hear your DH is recovering well. You sure got some exercise in yesterday with all the walking with that 2 ton purse. LOL! Hope you changed shoulders.
Ex. class 1hr with 3lb weights, 30 mins chipping ice off my walkway and part of my driveway. Still too thick in parts. |

Glad to hear the good news Linda for your DH and the surgery.
Doris they are still examining the existing bridge before they make a decision on which way to go, repair the old one or start building the new one (which was in the works before the damage) There is talk of a ferry in the mean time. Walk and workout as usual. |

Oh, a ferry, hadn't thought about that. They have that in Nashville, but we didn't take it, weren't in the right part of town. OK.
Glad your hubby is on the mend, Linda. 2 hrs. 30 min. bike time, weights and Jack's chair stuff. No squats today, need a "squat" break, according to my dh. Off to fix some deviled eggs to tuck into the fridge for dh. Bought a different mayo, he doesn't care for the taste of the olive oil flavored kind. Doris |

Never been to a Costco, just Sam's club. Guess we don't have a Costco in these parts.
Do you have to be a member to shop there? walk until I got frozen with the wind chill, about 4.5 miles. The wind on the highway was like a knife. Exercise workout/ |
