Good Morning Jezzie and those to follow.
Jezzie, Thanks so much for the start up this morning.
I do not feel rested today as I was up and down all night for bathroom visits a 3 tums dose for a quart of eggnog that turned to farmers cheese in my tummy and the "snow" and storm warning causing me to bring in the cats for the night and of course they ask out at different times during the night and then of course they asked to come back in after covering up at different times as well. Sometimes I think I get more exercise during the long night than I do going full tilt during the day. Have a good day everyone. bbl

Morning all,
Thanks, Jezzie for the recommendation...I have it on my kindle along with 53 other books to read. This 3 year old has severely cut into my reading time. But I enjoy it when I get a moment or two. Lainey, I hope you get to fall back to sleep quickly after waking up with a cat. The temps should go up to 60 ish today. With the sunshine we might get to play outside a little this afternoon. Hope you all have a great day. |

Good morning everyone -
No idea what a tub transfer is, Jezzie, but thanx as always for getting us started. ![]() Anna & Jezzie - who is the author of Recluse? Lainey - anyone would be sick from an entire quart of eggnog!! Yesterday was frustrating. Went to closing on our much lower rate mortgage, but the closing agent forgot to ask for our check and we forgot to give it to her..... Then got home and the company that was supposed to install the glass surround in our shower had left a message that the delivery truck was missing one side so that will have to be put off!! I am livid. I was so tired of climbing the stairs for my shower, I actually laid towels around the shower stall and took a shower without any walls. On the other hand....these should only be the worse things that will ever happen.... Have a good one. Tonight my garden club is having a pot luck/wreath making party - outside - the high today only in the low 40's and tonight in the 30's!!

Good Morning All,
Thanks Jezzie for the bright and early start. We still have snow all around but no snow banks yet. We have a clear blue sky today and lots of sunshine, it's a tad on the cold side but I like the brightness. I am off for hair do this aft, roots and hair cut, style, going to a short cocktail thank you do tonight for one of the charities DS is involved with. Hope everyone has a productive or restful day whatever you choose. |

Hi all!
Well, I am losing it. When to hair appointment and it was for next tuesday not today! Hope I got the appt for the dog right for tomorrow. I need a cut too! I am wearing mine in a ponytail - and I am not used to long hair. I have been online looking at hairstyles and can't decide what to do. Ponytail is nice when walking and exercising. My sister keeps telling me to do something different she thinks it looks awful. I think it wouldn't be so bad if I could afford a lifestlye lift or botox! Oh well got a few days to figure out how short to go! Have a great day all! Coleen |

Another trip to Walmart today, but first checked in at WWatchers. Doing good there.
It was downright cold here this morning, low 40s and is still chilly. Warming up tomorrow tho.' Jezzie, sorry you didn't get your snow, be patient. Lainey, sorry about the eggnog. I'd drink it for every meal if I dared. I LOVE that stuff, especially with a "little something" in it. And I know what you mean about the cats wandering around at night. Even Shadow wakes us up at least once meowing, we've decided he has a touch of Alzheimer's and needs to know where we are. We call his name, he jumps up on the bed and then goes to sleep. Anne, hard to believe that you're warmer than we are today. Enjoy. Julie, did you freeze? DH is having BP problems. It goes low, too low, then he takes his pill and it does better. He's supposed to take this pill twice a day.............do you think he'll do that?? He played golf yesterday and his BP went way low and he almost fainted. Did he tell anyone?? Would he tell anyone? ![]() Ginny |

Hiya. A late start today. I had a hair appt this morning too for a perm. By the end of it, I wasn't feeling well and came home instead of going to the grocery store for things to make dinner. I'm going to have my daughter pick up something or go out to eat by herself. I need to stay in my recliner. Plus Molly misses her lap.
If I feel better later, I'm going to work on either the tree or some Christmas cards. I'm still plugging along on that book I'm reading on my iPad. First book in decades. I wouldn't recommend it. Its not well written IMO.

Hi to all!
Yes, Ginny, I awoke at 5 a.m. and it was 65 in the house. I was snuggled under two blankets so didn't realize it was only 37 outside! At least we know it will only last a day or two. I believe I know what Jezzie is referring to. The transfer tub bench allows you to sit on the bench and it then slides over the side of the tub and you remain seated under the shower area. One end is on the floor and the other in the tub. I've seen it in catalogs. Nothing much happening here. So, I have nothing to write unless I make it up. I promise I won't do that!!

Evening everyone,
Jezzie that tub transfer bench will be an invaluable help to you. My MIL had one and it made her life so much easier. Sure wish I had one when I had my knee surgery. Lainey, what about a Cat Door? That way they could come and go as they please and not bother you. Hope you have a fun time, Susan. Babette, hopefully you took the check right back to the bank. Good lord, hope you get that shower wall in soon. Colleen, maybe go short and simple. I had long hair for years, cut it off and never looked back. Wash and wear is so easy to care for. Hi Ginny. Verleen, so how did the perm come out? Hi Julie, Yikes!! only 37 in Florida? Not much of note here. Just a trip to Sam's, and then home to try to learn how to use the Kindle fire. ![]()
