Good Sunday morning to all.

We have cooler weather here in Ky, down to the low 30s at night but we have some beautiful starry skies also.

Just want to give Jezzie a and hope all is well.

No special plans today. Have already read the sale papers.

Great Good Sunday Morning to all.

Sun is back but I do have the heat on just to take last nights cold's edge off.
Gonna try my hand at toparairy today but have to get out there while the sun in on that bush (otherwise the rest of the day it is deep shade there and cold even in summer. Three balls? do I start at the top- yeah but will need a ladder hmmm it will be a work in progress as I will only be the one that sees it. Did you know those fancy animals and dinasours are wire mesh shapes inside and just clipped to form. Disappointed me a lot when I read that in a book I had once that did not make my moves from N.Y. to Va.
Gotta go.
Loretta I bought a newspaper a while ago on Sunday and NOT ONE add was usable so I will not do that again.

Change the world today.... picking up a stone on the beach changes the world for all time.

Love for Jezzie as well but still wishing her back in my world and Yes I do think she deserves a break from that post. I did it once and begged off in about a week. Heck, I still miss Carol our Woo Woo.

Good morning! Today we drive to Atlanta to the Fox to take Maggie to see a live performance of Yo Gabba Gabba. If ya'll don't know what that is...well, it is absolutely indescribable. The most annoying kids show ever...second maybe to Max and Ruby...but anyway, Maggie loves the characters and loves the songs so off we go. We will, of course, eat at the Varsity and maybe do an Ikea stop. So a busy day.

Ginny...I could not be more excited for you unless it was ME!! Great news. Can't wait to see you next week? Just call and I'll meet you someplace.

Got my clothes all cleaned out. Got a huge bag for Goodwill. Seemed like my phrase of the day was: I'll give it one more season...I don't wear half the stuff I have...but most are just too good to pitch. But I felt very accomplished.

I also tried my hand at peanut brittle. What a waste of a cup of sugar. LOL...needless to say the whole thing went into the trash! Next time I will know where my mistakes were, though. Going to try a new recipe of Peppermint Bark this week, too.

Better get myself ready to roll.

Oh, for a magic wand, Gladys, you are right!

So many plans, hoping they all turn out well, and are enjoyable.

We are off on another "toot", to Reno/Sparks, staying at a casino, but never gamble, lol. $42.00 a night, for a lovely room, and going to see Tom Russell tonight, and tomorrow is just for driving and walking around, Halloween doesn't "do it" for us anyway.............no kids around.

Careful out there, see you on Tuesday at some point.

Hugs to everyone on here, sick, pondering, or well.

Good morning.

We had no running water for 3 days so stayed off Island.

I'll bet Gladys could find Jezzie in Louisiana ......

No special plans today - just tons of laundry now that water back.

Begete, I have also had a thought or two along those lines recently.
I know if it was me I would want everyone to think the worst.

Hi all-

It took us 3 hours to drive the 55 miles into Manhattan for DH's gig last night. Not as long getting home. Route 684 (Interstate) was open, but none of the parkways were - too many trees down. NYC had 2-3" of slush. We had at least 10" of heavy, wet snow here. Lost power for about 9 hours. Not bad compared with folks in NJ and CT. It's been an adventure and I am very glad it's going to warm up to 50 tomorrow!

Have a good one.

Busy here today, cleaned the refrigerator and behind the refrigerator
Plus cleaned out food cabinets and shut down the little freezer. Anne/Julie, we'll be coming thru sometime Sunday. I'll be letting you know more, the closer it gets.

Had to get some of that done today as we have a busy week coming up. Tomorrow, visit with the Oncologist for scripts, Tuesday Dentist, Wednesday Weight Watcher meeting, and Thursday DH goes to the heart dr. Whew.

This is our "beggar's night" and it's really blustery today, not pleasant. We have gobs of candy which I'm not worried about (not a candy person more potato chip/dip person) DH is hoping there will be some left.

I have a jack-o-lantern in the front window and a large lit up pumpkin on the porch. We enjoy seeing the little kids and their costumes.

Weezie, glad you got to where you were going and got home again. I still can't believe how much snow you guys got. I have to say tho' I'm glad it wasn't us.

Thank you all again for all the good thoughts. What a wonderful feeling.............!!!

I'll be watching to see if/when you can stop where we discussed in the spring. If not, we'll make it another time. My DGD and her BF should be passed here by then..but who knows? We'll all know more by the end of the week.
We don't get any kids for trick or treat, which is fine with me. One of my neighbors just brought over some home-made cupcakes all appropriately decorated. Yummy!

Oh my! So sorry for you guys with that snowy mess! Cold here and dreary just got back from a long walk and decided I need to find my winter hat. My ears were freezing! Had a great time at the Halloween party. So many clever costumes - one gal had a poodle skirt! Remember those??? My nephew's football team won 42 - 0, so we will have some more play off games to go to! Hoping I didn't do too much damage to the diet yesterday! I tried to fill up on healthy stuff and salad. My sister's lasagna is so good and I did have a piece. The Vikings won - will wonders never cease! Have a great rest of the day all. Sorry I got here so late!

I had work today was able to go in late as I had told them ahead of time I would start at 10am...it was a busy day.

For those asking what I wore last night...a cream chiffon mid-calf length skirt outfit the top is gold with little diamontie buttons. I did wear heels but had to be careful when walking. I did change them to walk to the elevator and the underground heated parking. My GF drove there and back. We had a hoot. DS was in his element.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and safe hope to bb tomorrow...
