Do high schools still have Home Ec these days?? When you look/think back now, those classes were a laugh really. I remember being tested as to how we made a bed, they had a bed in the room, and we each had to "make it", and the teacher graded us on how often we went round and back and forth................I kid you not!!
This was 1960/61.Did 3 hrs. 7 min. on the bike, and walked/marched around the house and yard doing odds and ends, moving and cutting plants around, same way as you would move furniture around. Done for the day, if I do any Polka, it will be for fun only, not counting as anything. Loretta, are there any neighbors around when you walk on a Saturday, compared to during the week, to yak with you?? Sometimes when dh walks, it takes him over an hour to come home due to the "chit chats". Doris |
