Will have to listen to Michael when I get home later today.

What a heavenly morning for a walk, 64º and very low humidity. I went like the wind, well slow breeze. 3.56 miles, 55 min.

No other exercise today.

Yes, here too says that, tried to play it twice now.

Nada for formal exercise today. I did do more heavy chores around the house, so could count part of those for arm weights and waist twists. LOL!

Full and busy day tomorrow at work, so probably no time to exercise but will be running around.

May just grab my small arm weights and do a few.

I only walked the hospital/clinic grounds while waiting for dh's doctor visit to conclude, we were told the doctor was over an hour delayed this morning, so dh didn't get out of there until 10:15, appt. was for 9 AM. Then he needed another blood test, then we went to the market quickly, for one item, turned out to be 15 items, and on and on. Didn't get home until noon. Does it seem to take you a long time to pack away groceries?? Gee whiz, I got brussel sprouts, and freezer items, had to pack them carefully away while making dh's lunch because he took his shot right away, lol.

Tomorrow should be more normal again, back to the bike and so forth, plus added sneezing tours.

Hi all.
Need to get this exercise thing as a habit.
Lifted with my DD today. Feels so good when I'm done.
We are doing this together as I need to make it a habit as does she before she goes off to college...so we have over a year to get the habit down.
We will lift 2 days a week to start....get some walking or something in between. baby steps....
hopefully, posting for accountability will help the process.
Have a good day all.

Walk 3.50 miles. Exercise work out upper and lower body 30 min.

Heading out for curves.

Doris I miss seeing DH's doctors. Seem like we ususally made some sort of outing too on his doctor visits.

Had to grocery shop for Bob this morning. It is really hard to shop for someone else even though he had a list. Too many choices, low fat, ff, etc.

I did cross trainer and upper body weights yesterday. Today was lower body weights and cross trainer and bike...good workout!

I talked with the trainer guy a little bit today and will be scheduling a workout with him next week, I hope.

This week we are busy getting ready for the big picnic on Saturday...so much left to get done...DH and DS are outside still planting in the flowerbeds and it's almost dark. DH has mixed up work hours this week due to other people on vacation so he has to help cover other shifts.

Linda, I hope you guys have a huge blast this weekend!!! Gee, we haven't had anything like that since before we had kids actually, when we lived in the bay area, in San Jose. Maybe that trainer can show you some new moves.

way2, that's good to start out slowly. Plus you have a "partner in crime" to keep you reminded to do the moves.

Sheila, don't be bored!! I think it's the weather that affects you to a great degree, I just can't even imagine it in fact. dh and I just spoke of where we should look to retire to, and Florida ain't it..............but they say "never say never", lol.

I did my 2 hrs. on the bike, and assorted cavorting in the kitchen, during my brussel sprout cutting stint, ice tea and weird new lemonade duties. I wish I could hire a cook and dish washer around here!!!! Too much time in the kitchen makes for a dull lady.

Yes Loretta, at least going to the doctor appts. did give you a reason to get out and about. Hugs to you Loretta. How nice that you shop for Bob, it is difficult to shop for someone else as you say. Plus to know what their desires are at the moment. dh changes his mind sometimes about foods once I bring the stuff home. And the choices out there, it seems to take so long to shop because of all that darned label reading.

Beautiful morning here, lower humidity. Sure smelled fragrant this am after a little rain last night. Noticed the clover, queen anne's lace, daisies, lots of colorful weeds out there.

Walk 3.50 miles. Exercise workout upper and lower body 30 min. Curves this afternoon.

I did my 2 hrs. on the bike and will be cavorting in the kitchen as soon as I get off of here. Just felt like checking email. I'm expecting the UPS lady to bring my printer ink, I ordered black and colored ink from Staples, but the color pooped out quickly, so they are sending me another one and crediting me for this one.

Have a pleasant rest of this Wednesday folks.

Doris are you near a Walgreens. They will refill your ink cartridge for $12, it used to be $10. This is my first time trying it and so far so good. They only do certain brands.

Nope, Walgreens are down in the valley or in Reno. There is a stationary store in that other town that does that, but I haven't heard good things about refilling cartridges from anyone who has been there. My printer is not too young, so I'm just thankful to be able to get new cartridges now and then online instead of playing the hunting game. We just got a copy machine from our neighbor for free, but the cartridge for that sucker is expensive. But the other one lasted us for almost 10 years without refilling, so I guess it's not so bad, we don't run an office here. If I didn't print out so many photos in a larger size for my Mother, I wouldn't need to buy a new cartridge very often either. But she enjoys 8 X 10 size photos so much! So I do it while I can.

Let's see, I did my "kitchen cavorting" for about 35 minutes.

Sheila-

How often do you do Callanetics? I have the DVD but haven't had the courage to start it. Last time I did it, I was so sore! I guess that means I need it!

I have callanetics 10 yrs younger in 10 hrs. Yes, it seems so easy to watch, but boy does it work you.
l restarted callan in June. (done them a couple yrs ago and quit) so for the month of June I have 11 hrs of callan ten yrs in ten hrs.
going to try for 15 hrs this month. there is a challenge on the exercise thread.
I do watp two mile or three in the morn and callan in the evening.

My usual walk 3.5 miles. Exercise workout upper and lower body 30 min, according to Jane Fonda.

Curves this afternoon.

Fluffy, no wonder you are tired out with all of that stair climbing, cleaning and yard work.

Fluffy, I almost choked when I read about your hairball coming up, lol. Sometimes, if you are very very sore from some type of exercise, it's a cue that you need to cut back, not do as many, or whatever. What's the hurry?? Because, if a person hurts or is too sore, you know what happens after that? They quit doing the exercise........and that's no good at all. Slow turtle wins at the end of the line. I always baby myself when starting a new routine.

Did my 2 hrs. on the bike, and Texas Two Step today was the order of the day, the music channel we had on played a bunch of them. And this was before lunch.

I was deadheading today, don't have many Petunia's so it doesn't take so long, and the roses are just coming back into bloom again. Was out yanking a bunch of those California Poppies out too, they spread all over the place and get into the strangest places.

See yah tomorrow, we finally have some soccer on again, but it's not on until the evening, so my routine will be different for that day.

Did 2 hrs. 30 mn. on the bike, some yard work and wall stretching, I've had enough...........

Gonna watch a movie with dh tonight, some western thing, 3:10 to Yuma, or 5:20 to Tulsa or something like that, lol.

See you tomorrow at some point. The Tour de France begins tomorrow, so we like to use that as something to watch while on the exercise bike to make the time go faster.
