I have seen black soy beans in the organic/natural foods section of Wal Mart superstore. It's where I find my Soy Slender chocolate Soy milk in fact. On the shelves. If you arn't near a Wal Mart Super, check in the natural foods/organic area of your regular grocery store.

I'll be back later. I'm fixing dh the leftover stir fry he had the other day. I don't know what I'm fixing for myself yet.

Shelia here is the bean-Co-pb About a tablespoon of drained, rinsed northern beans, about 1 tsp coconut oil and natural peanut butter. Just stretches the peanut butter and I have grown accustomed to the fiber added by the beans. It works for me.

Sorry I didn't get here yesterday. Now I have to recall what I ate.

Thursday's Menu

B: 1-12grain toast w PB n sf syrup dabs, lots of tea w milk

2 Coffees w dble cr

L: 2 sausages, lots of tea w cr

snack: 8 almonds

D: Roast Pork large portion, buttered broccoli, lots of tea w milk

Weight was up this morning, probably too much sodium from the sausages and roast pork.

Alterations to yesterday's eats. No carrots or dessert with dinner but 3 mugs of SF Cocoa.

A friend at my ex. class yesterday told me that she makes her cocoa with skim milk powder, hot water, splenda and cocoa...hmmm Has anyone tried this? wonder what the carb count or calorie count would be?

I look forward to my little "chocolate" treat at bedtime.

Hope to BBL to report a Clean Day.

Loretta, honestly they were delicious. First time I had them was in Florida and now we have a new S. American, Cuban restaurant that has them. They are fried grouper in a flour tortilla with guacamole dressing and salsa.

Loretta, fish tacos are a staple here in California!! They are very good if well made, even Carl's Jr. has fish tacos. There are several variations of them, you usually don't put regular taco sauce on them though, so it's actually easy to make them low fat too. Our dietitian recommends them in fact.

Susan, I used to make that variation of cocoa, but the non fat milk powder was too expensive. And it STILL has 12 gr. of sugar, just like any other milk does per cup. So no savings in that department. Just some people like the taste better is all. At least that is what I found, don't know what you think. That's why I drink my Soy Slender chocolate milk, it has less than 1 gram of sugar, all told. It is not like that soy milk they sell in the cold section of the market, with the regular milks. This Soy chocolate milk, which comes in vanilla and capaccino too, is sold where the natural foods and organic foods are sold on the regular shelves in the store. Worth a try if you are really worried about carbs. I just like the taste and it is 70 calories per cup.

See yah later on, I have kitchen chores to do, as ever.
