Well I finally decided it was time to part with my daffodils desktop.
So I'm traveling again. lol.

Sheila: Can't tell you how happy I am to see you.

Janie: I'm sorry. I guess I missed something. I knew you had allergies
but didn't realize you had a bug. Speedy recovery.

Lin: Thanks for the pictures. Yours is certainly a life well spent.

Ron: Nice picture. And WTG on your loss. Next stop ... goal.

To everyone. ..... Have a day of peace and harmony.

Good Morning!

Jezzie Ole'

It's crisp and clear here--somewhere in the high 40 degrees range after a series of thunder boomers blew through last night.

Shortly, we are going up to the lake to have a walk. We are taking doggy Ming and we are also taking our worthless cat. DH and I have decided we need to get some regular exercise.

Yesterday we all gathered at the farm to remember Mom and Dad--12 years gone for Mom and three for Dad-- they both passed on the first Saturday in May. It is a happy thing to remember. My youngest sister asked us to talk about how things have changed over the years. It was a bittersweet day but our family are -- at the core of our being-- HAPPY and optimistic folk. A lovely day, and I particularly enjoyed cutting asparagus with Sandy in her garden. Loretta, I'm thinking of you

Sheila, I "borrowed" the lilacs based on your avatar so I could build a real bouquet --thanks for the inspiration. We have a single big white lilac in the front yard at the farm, and the house next door has a hedge of pale purple ones.

Doris my mother completely lost her sense of smell when she was not much older than I am right now I expect it's only a matter of time for me. I stick flowers right up my nostrils --sorry--TMI

Janie are you better today?
to all who follow.

Off to the lake. . . Have a great Sunday!

Lin

Jezzie and Lin, thanks. I hate to whine and am a terrible patient. Enough. One nice thing is that I have had time to read. Finished Simple Genius by Baldacci and started a new one by a new Author. Back later to tell you what it is.

Thinking of you Loretta.

Ron, congrats on your success. So glad you are posting with us.

Time to get out of this house...off to brunch.

Hi everyone!!

I am still getting to know you folks via your posts. Hope everyone is doing as well as possible!!

Here is another photo taken down in Mexico. I am smaller than this now and when I get to goal, I will take a nearly identical photo (but in our back yard) and look at them side by side. I do not recall my weight back then in December, 2006 - but it was more than it is now.

Hi gang.

Lin: How do you take your cat for a walk? Does he just follow behind you?

Ron: That beach looks good and congrats on your weight loss..My dh needs to
"get motivated" again..He was doing very well, then he doesn't do so well when he travels.

Janie: I love Baldacci..I "listen" to him on my MP3 Player..downloaded from the Kansas State library..for free...

Brett (ds20) has one more week of classes at KState..(Mechanical Engineering), then finals..He said he will be glad when it is over..... We will be glad when he comes home..

Hi Jezzie: Love those pictures you always post..Makes me want to travel..

Hugs to everyone else..

Prayers for Loretta that everything went smoothly and she could enjoy the family at this sad time in her life.

I also have our Loretta on my mind. And the rest of you tug at my brain too, during the day, especially when I wash dishes and climb Mt. Washmore....
