I like Martha Grimes, Lin. If you want a real hoot of a book, I just finished, THE SWEET POTATO QUEENS, 1ST BIG-ASS NOVEL.

Would love it, Jezzie, if you also included, listening to and watching like we had on the other BB.

This morning listening to Beethoven's Adagios and I have been watching the first season of "Friday Night Lights." Also, have watched this year's American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. I think the Kansas boy, David Cook, will win AI.

Just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy and Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson. They were both great reads. Now I'm reading the Alex Cross series of paperbacks by of course James Patterson. These are so exciting that I'm going through them fast. You can't just put them down for long!

Janie: I think that's a great idea. Consider it done. Celtic Woman this am.

Sharon: Alex Cross and was one of my favorites series. I like the numbered ones too.
But my favorite is the Harry Bosch series by Michael Connelly.

I just found the Just So Stories by Kipling at a garage sale last weekend. I didn't run across it until I was abput 50 and I love it so! My copy is at home, of course so I was delighted to find this one here. I'm going to lend it to my cousin to read to her grandchildren after I've reread it. She's excited!

I also just got Good Calories, Bad Calories. That will be my hospital reading.

Me again. This is a book about agribusiness/pig farming/slaughtering--not for the squeamish but very engaging. Grimes is a wonderful tale spinner.

I also finished ANOTHER Debbie Macomber book--this one about love at Christmas---Heaven help me, I think my brain is turning to mush.

I am on an Elizabeth Berg jag. I was supposed to go to the book store and meet her last week and didn't make it. Just finished, RANGE OF MOTION, which I loved. She really is one of my favorite authors.
