Exercise for Sunday Aug 26th
hi Everyone. You all have done so well with exercising. Loretta, I might need your snail mail address when I buy a pedometer so you can make it work. LOL Just kidding. I couldnt program one kind I had so I gave it away. The one I really liked, I lost. ![]() Will do the bike later. Night all. |

Hi Shelia and Gang of Exercisers!

I have two pedometers. One counts 'every' step.
The other only counts the steps that are 'exercise' steps. If you walk less than a continuous 10 minutes it doesn't count them. As in leaving the computer to walk to the refrigerator. ![]() When I was doing my 30 min. walk between 3:30 and 4:00 am I wondered if anyone else in the whole county is walking back and forth in their basement. |

Jezzie I found some basment walkers but they have BIG basements:
http://www.bethesda.med.navy.mil/HP/...ise/index.aspx Another was at a college that had a huge basement or underground tunnel system. Couldn't find any single home basement walkers. I uesd to be one though and sometimes I walk up at the church hall. NO walk today, but it is really quite nice outside with low humidity. Sheili you just have to read the directions and follow slowly. You can get it. |

nope.. i think I am "pedometer illerate"
I finally figured that one out, but it would not keep pure steps. I would count and look. Then, I could never tell where to put them. I went on line and looked and they said the waistband right in the middle. Not to put on the shoe or ankle or side, because it would not be true steps. I could never keep mine in the middle without poking my fat. LOL. So I gave up. You all did so good. Doris, how do you do so much on that bike? I do twenty to thirty and I get so bored. Jezzie, I wish I had a place to walk like that. Loretta great on the walking Susan, glad Oliver is on the mend. Maybe you can get back into the swing of things tomorrow. I did only 12 min awhile ago. Will do more later.

No formal exercise for me today. I am on my way to the pool with Beth for an hour or so. I'll take my water weights and play around with them as she plays.
See you tomorrow. Kay |
