PENTABOSOL ??? By Dr. Eades
OK - I am not sucked in easily at all I am just very frustrated and wondering if anyone has tried this stuff called PENTABOSOL. Dr. Eades the infomercial claims you can lose weight twice as fast by taking this stuff twice a day. Of course I do not believe it but was wondering if anyone has tried this crap. If you have tried it or know of someone that has I would like to here from you regarding the results.

Deborah, don't know anything about it but it would probably be a waste of your money. Better to go with the known like joining Curves. I will be driving through your city on Sunday on my way to Fayetteville.
Hope you will post with us more. |

HI Deborah! Well, I do remember Penabosol some time ago (about 2-3 years ago! --yes, I've been on this board that long!), hearing about some gals trying this stuff. I seem to remember there was not too much in the way of positive results either! LOL!! (How about that?)
I even remember going on the Protein Power site when this Pentabosal first came out and noticed that the people on THEIR own chat board had not lost any weight on this stuff either. I know this is all anecdotal--who knows if the people were even taking the drug properly, etc..... You really need a controlled group to know if it is really effective. Personally, I agree with Janie--give the Atkins plan a try for 2 solid weeks and add in some exercise--you willsee results. The only real important tip I can give you is to just make sure that you don't eat too many processed foods (i.e. too much bacon, ham, sausage etc...)--there is way too much salt, nitrates--you will probably retain fluid and it will appear that you are not losing (you might then get discouraged). Also, make sure you drink a sufficient amount of water (half of your body wt. in ounces of water should do it). Carol ![]() |

I agree with the above posters. As Carol said it was discussed a lot on this bb several years ago and no one had any success with it. I wouldn't waste the money.
