glitter nail polish

Does anyone use glitter nail polish? I am loving it right now, but not sure it is right for daytime. What do you think? Any rec's for a good one that is acceptable for everyday?

sally hensen's "strobe light"- and - one coat versus too is much lighter if you are looking for more subtlety.

Glitter nail polish is fine for anytime of day IMHO.

My favorite is China Glaze's Zombie Zest. Its a murkey green/brown. I think I like it more for the name. I put a coat of green nailpolish under it to really make it pop.

I've got several that sparkle. And one that is gold glitter! I wear that over other colors. They are fun & for any time of day.

Love the glitter but it is rough getting it off!! I had to rub the remover over my nails over and over again-STILL- it didn't budge!! Finally, I soaked my nails in the container of remover!!! Love the look though-day and night!

I agree the glitter is hard to get off. I only used the gold glitter one time - at Christmas time. I just kept dipping my cotton ball in the remover.

I don't like the rough finish on the glitters. I can't seem to put enough top coat on it to smooth it out. Any recommendations for a thicker top coat for that? I'm using Opi base, color and top coat but I'm not completely brand loyal

You have to use the foil method to get glitter polish off. Tear strips of foil about 2" x 3" or so... then put a cotton ball (or a piece of paper towel) with remover on it on your nail, wrap the foil around, and wait 2 or 3 minutes. Pull it off, pressing down on the nail as you do, and it'll take almost all the polish off.

I love glitters. I follow a nail blog called thepolishaddict, and she has some great reviews on glitters.

The cutex nail polish remover that's a sponge that you stick your finger in and swirl around takes it off really fast!
