Keeping your eye creams in the refrigerator?

Does anyone do this?
I was reading an article (prevention I think) and it suggested keeping eye creams/serums/etc in the frige so they're cold when you apply them. Says it helps de-puff the area.

I used to do that with my cucumber eye gel. I think it worked... If it didn't, it didn't hurt and it did feel like a special treat... a little pampering...
