I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisture. To me it works as well as BB Cream, and blends better. I don't know what it is about my skin but anything with 'primer' in it will not set right on my face- it will start to ball up and flake by noon! I don't know!

To me the Garnier BB Cream was too dark for the light color, but I am pretty light skinned.

peretroika; that's great to know about the Aveeno product. I use that cleanser and love it!

I am in love with BB creams. So far I am trying different ones. Next I will try the Hydroxatone one and the Smashbox Camera Ready one. I will also try an Asian one soon. I got one of my co workers hooked on it too.

I'm so glad I came across this thread! I've been looking for something just like BB cream ... I just didn't know what that something was!

Tried the Garnier BB fair/light cream this morning and so far, I'm really liking it. I'm wearing it over my Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum (love!) with just loose powder on top.

I looked at the L'Oreal, but noticed it had soy in it which I avoid because of my thyroid. The Garnier was $11.97 at Walmart. It's only 2.5 ounces, but with as little as I used, I think it will last a long time. I am getting a little whiff of "suncreeny" smell even after two hours, but it's not overwhelming.

I'm using the BB cream as a substitute for foundation. I don't wear a lot of foundation to begin with and this seemed liked just enough coverage for me. I'm 52 and my skin's not particularly dry, but it's definitely not oily.

Thanks for a great thread!

I like the Aveeno tinted cream. I use it most weekdays. I also have Urban Decay's Naked BB cream. I love it but it's pricey so I use it only a couple of times a week.
