I'm closing on age 70 (next month), but I believe that cleansing and moisturizing is what's critical for my skin (plus SPF during the day). I don't think that a lot of those expensive 'anti-wrinkle' creams do anything.

I'm hoping that the Marcuja Oil will be enough--so far, it has been as good as any expensive treatment I've used--if not better.
I really like this oil too!

I agree about cleansing and moisturizing being key with anti aging. I also think consistency. My skin doesn't look like that of a almost 52 year old......I believe it's because I have been meticulous about my skin care since I was in my early 20's.

I love that oil and would love to get a big bottle of it!!!

I also think I am going to cancel the AD with the second kit......I love the products, but not enough to get multiple kits when there are only a couple that I really love - the eyeshadow mostly.....

I have to say, every time I wear the plum shadow & liner from the first kit, I am amazed by the staying power! All day long & it looks just as good as when it was first applied.

I know they are but I can't justify buying them like that. I can justify a kit because of the value. So I tell myself.

I've made it a goal to check out some of the cheap stuff (like ELF) in stores for a while & see how that is.

Well, at least until there's another great TSV...

A lot of people must have skipped the 2nd shipment for the 8th wonder kits. They are available online for the TSV price.

I was close to a different Target over the weekend but did not have my big musical gift card with me so I did not go in. Still need to see what they have at the K-Mart.

Meanwhile I signed up for ELF email. They said they missed me...I don't know why they would miss me. Sounds like the best deals might be ordering from them.

I want another tarte TSV.

But I want non-shimmery shadows & I just don't see that happening. My tarte shadow are the only ones I am 100% certain will look just as good at the end of the day as when I put them on.

Maybe I'll treat myself to some matte shadows from tarte for my birthday if I haven't gotten some by then.

I totally agree on the above, Deb.
I have tried other creme shadows and they just don't last.
Still want to try that one that Drew Barrymore is promoting with cover girl - you apply with a wand.

I think I am going to cancel that second TSV with the concealer. Can't remember the names of the kits......Wasn't impressed with everything in it like I was with that first one we got.

I think Tarte site is having friends and family 30% off sale (read on the QVC board, and haven't checked the site myself) if you just want to try something, shipping is probably free too.

I bought the new eyeliners, thick pencil amazon clay..these are my new favorite. I have 3 colors, a violet, blue and charcoal. I would like green but the one the have I think is too dark. Eyeliner stays on forever!!!

I love the slim Amazonian Clay eyeliners!
You are right Diane; they wear like iron!

Going to check the website!

Thanks, Diane.

I checked the site for matte shadows but the only ones they seem to have are in kits with lots of shimmery ones.

I canceled the second TSV. I am going to cancel the first one, too. The shadows in the 3rd kit are browns & I have some good browns already.

Ok Deb; how did you find out what's in the third kit; can you clue me in?

I checked out the website and saw 30% off with free shipping over $40.

Didn't I post the colors a long time ago? They were posted on someone's blog. No idea how these people get their info but it seems to be accurate. I'll have to try to dig it up again.

OK...

The sale is why I looked at tarte's site but they did not gave what I am looking for.

The Q is advertising tarte special on the home page. Not sure any are really good, at a glimpse it looked like mostly free S&H or easy pays with a featured price thrown in. No matte only green shadows so probably nothing for me. Oh, I should check to see if they have the Park Avenue Bronzer...

I finally found some matte shadows that I could not resist! Urban Decay is having an unbelievable sale - shadows (they even have green! ) for $1 and $3, their version of a combo lipstick/gloss for $1, etc. I ordered several items to try.

Emmaline, I love browns & I would definitely be getting that kit if I did not already have some great browns. I've got a 3 shade kit from BE - Meet the Browns - and it is one of my favorites.

Thanks, I hope I like them.

I discovered that the golden plum eyeliner from the first tarte TSV (pictures on first page of thread) looks great with my dark brown BE shadow. I use a little of the tarte shimmering bronze on the inner corners of my lids & the rest the dark brown. The liner really does look good with it.

I am dying to try the Tarte line. It's not in my budget right now, but you'd better believe a few Tarte sets are going on my Xmas wishlist!

Some of the products aren't too badly priced compared to other brands.
I certainly love some of them though....

ETA: Doeskin; LOVE your blog! Your are gorgeous!!
Love that you use ELF - wish I could find that HD powder!

Thanks, Radmom! You can get it at the eyeslipsface website, it's under their Studio line - my Target never carries a lot of ELF products!

Anyone know what the colors are for the October ship of the Tarte Glow your way to gorgeous TSV?

I had cancelled it but just reinstated it as DD21 loves the concealer and figured it would be a better deal to get all the products.

The colors are warm - new shades; charcoal liner, sage cream shadow, charisma blush (peach with gold) and a coral shade. Same concealer but different brush & different bag.

Are you still getting the 8th wonder one, too? I think those are browns.

Yep still getting the other kit because I love the foundation. Plus the mascara as well. I definitely like the colors of the kit. Thanks Deb!
