There are a couple spas in town that sell BE & I need to see if I can get a sample of the new Matte foundation to try. I was using Smoky Mountain Minerals foundation and like that but it spilled and is gone.

I am pretty sure this is unnecessary but I have been using regular MV on my face first to eliminate my annoying natural glazed donut look, then I apply the Pearl MV & blush.

It is kind of hard to describe. Maybe kind of like candlelight?

Oh, why did you have to post that.... Now I want to try it!

Reviews say it is very subtle color....it does contains Bismuth so will be a bit shimmery.

Radiance Rocks
What it is:

A set of three bareMinerals Radiance Rocks that provide a sheer wash of color for the eyes, cheeks, and body.

What it does:
Three glistening bareMinerals Radiance Rocks are compressed together solely by water—resembling minerals in their most natural state. Simply swirl the Heavenly Kabuki Brush on top of rocks, and buff these gorgeous 100% pure bareMinerals shades on your eyes, cheeks, and body. The result is a glimmering, sheer wash of color with a refreshing, cooling sensation.

What else you need to know:
For added color, pick up each rock individually and apply directly on eyes, cheeks, and even lips.

This set contains:
- bareMinerals Bronze Radiance Rock
- bareMinerals Champagne Radiance Rock
- bareMinerals Warm Rose Radiance Rock
- Heavenly Kabuki Brush

Did you sample it in the store? Can you sample it? I like to take home samples to play with so I can experiment on my own with makeup before I buy.

I am restraining myself from buying any more BE till my matte foundation and pearls get here in a week But that 10% rebate ends today I think and I hate to lose the bargain factor

Anyone else get this and have reviews?

They have it in again; I caught part of a presentation last night just before I went to bed. I think tomorrow is the last day they will offer it on flex pay or some such thing.

I still love the Mineral Veil best. Do NOT want to be without it.

I am shocked at how good the mascara is and haven't used my regular waterproof mascara since getting the BE. This one looks great & doesn't run but comes off easily when I want it to. It has been years since I used a non-waterproof mascara!

Well I ordered it and paid for it back on nov 28. Still waiting for delivery. Not impressed with their delivery and will never order from QVC again. The stuff I ordered from Sephora the next day has been here for over a week.

Wow, you still haven't got it? Was it on back order or something? I generally receive things from them in decent time.

Nope. And they didn't say it was back ordered, they show it leaving the warehouse the next day but the route it is taking is convoluted to say the least.

Slow shipping after they charge for it is one thing that really turns me off of a site and honestly, do it to me once and I won't buy again. I like free shipping and if I am paying extra for it I expect them to honor their charge. I paid for faster shipping and I know when I make a claim since it is not here in the stated time I will have to fight for the money back.

I'd call them now and let them know you are upset by this.

I emailed them to complain. They offered me free shipping on my next purchase. I said no you don't get it. There will be no next purchase. Esp. if this is how you deal with your failure to comply with your end of the deal. Refund my money for shipping the last purchase.

I am waiting to hear back.

I love the mineral veil and eyeliner. Haven't tried anything else yet. I hope to play "make up" tomorrow and test it all out

Meh

I love the brushes, but i've been to sephora a bazillion times since then and have since found 10 "new" must haves and favorites

I should be ashamed of my makeup collection.

I have to admit I am probably lucky not to have a Sephora nearby.

This BE collection is not available in stores. At least not until next year or maybe the end of this year. Can't recall the exact date. It is pretty nice. The pearls give it a nice look.

Still using it, and still LOVE IT.

We have two BE stores within 25 miles, I buy most of my BE from either QVC or the web site. I do shop the store, but like the deals from QVC. I have never had a problem with their shipping my items in a timely manner. Grizzy did you ever hear back from them, normally their customer service is wonderful.

Diamond Deb, candlelight, that is a good description.

When I ordered the BEautiful in Pearls collection I took the auto-ship option. It is going to save me money on several items and I won't have to shop for them. And if I don't like some colors I can return them. There are four shipments, each have different colors. I got the second collection yesterday. It is even better than the first.

I tried to find the description online but QVC doesn't have the item in stock so they don't show a description even if you've ordered it and want to check.

The eye shadows are Exotic Pearl, a very pale sage green, and Black Pearl, a dusty purple. The eyeliner is plum. I am wearing them all and love the way they look.

The blush is better in this one, Pearl Blossom, a bit more peachy pink to this one, I think.

The mascara & mineral veil are the same. The brushes are different!! I am so happy about that.

Almost forgot the lipgloss. It is 100% natural, called 7 Layer Cake. It has very little color, really too pale for me to wear alone BUT it feels better than the first. The first was thick and sticky. I didn't like the way it feels.

Guess what arrived today?

I got my 3rd installment of BEautiful in Pearls... This is the Vintage Pearls Collection.
  • Antique Pearl Eyecolor - a dreamy, sheer, light peach coral
  • Twilight Pearl Eyecolor - a glimmering steel blue that lights up eyes
  • Big & Bright Eyeliner - in Midnight (charcoal), brightens whites of eyes, opposite end has a smudge tip for blending & a sharpener
  • Flawless Definition Mascara in Black
  • Vintage Pearl Blush - a creamy washed poppy shade
  • Brightening Pearl Mineral Veil
  • 100% Natural lip Gloss in Glazed Donut, a champagne mist shade
  • Blending Brush, in Limited Edition Pearl
  • Full, Tapered Shadow Brush, in Limited Edition Pearl
  • Flawless Fan Brush, in Limited Edition Pearl, for applying sheer blush

I really like the BE Pearls collections. I'm still using - and liking - the mascara from the first collection. Haven't started on the one from the 2nd collection yet. The shadows are nice, the blushes good shades, the Pearl MV wonderful. The glosses are too pale for me but work well with my lipstick, especially the ones that are too dark to begin with. Makes them just right. The brushes have all been different & I am really liking that. I use most of them.

I can't wait to try these colors tomorrow.

Only one more collection left...

It's here! My final BEautiful in Pearls kit!

#4 "Modern Pearls" (September 2010) colors are:
  • Brightening Pearl Mineral Veil (a subtle pearlescent)
  • Cultured Pearl ES (a light pearl pink)
  • Modern Pearl ES (a grey jade)
  • Pink Pearl Blush (a sheer coral pink)
  • Big & Bright Mineral Eyeliner-Charcoal
  • Flawless Definition Mascara-Black
  • Praline Natural Lip Gloss (a plum rose)
  • Soft Focus Shadow Brush
  • Wet and Dry Shadow Brush
  • Angled Blush Brush

I can't wait to try the shadows, they look great. And the gloss is darker than the ones in the previous kits so I am hoping it will be something I can wear alone rather than layer.

I am so glad I got these kits. I've really used everything with the exception of a couple brushes. I rarely shop for eye shadow & these kits have been fun to use.

I just hope the Brightening Pearl Mineral Veil will continue to be available on its own because it is the one product I would be lost without. I highly recommend it if you can find it.

It is exclusive to QVC until November 1 of this year. But the only thing on The Q's site right now is the pearls face & body powder. That is not the same thing as Mineral Veil.
