Supplements toxic to the liver?

I've had a couple of blood tests with mildly elevated ALT, one of the liver enzymes. Finally got in to see a gastroenterologist today and I have to get more blood tests and a liver ultrasound to start ruling things out. Thankfully he had no issue with my low carb WOE. But he suggested that I stop taking most of my supplements, including biotin, alpha lipoic acid, chromium picolinate, Jarro-Zymes (pancreatic enzymes) and turmeric curcumin (natural antiinflammatory). He had no issue with my fish oil, CoQ10, B-100, D-3 and multivitamin. Anyone else have experience with these supplements or know whether they can cause liver inflammation?

Hmmmm. If I don't take Biotin regularly my nails start splitting, getting really thin. How much did you take? I recently upped my dose to 6000mcg daily.

I have been taking 5000 mcg per day, but there's also a few hundred more in my B-100 tablet and multivitamin. But in the year or so that I've been asking it frankly I see no difference in my nails. I've grown back some hair since I lost a ton of it a few years ago but can't say that's due to the biotin.
