For those who healed themselves from Lactose Intolerence....

How many weeks, months, years did it take???


I keep hearing that those of you who rid themselves of gluten healed their dairy intolerance???

I currently suffer from a dairy allergy. After I consume it I start coughing, throwing up, wheezing, the whole nine yards!!! I am wondering if I'll ever be able to heal myself from this with a diet change?

I am going to restart a high fat ketogenic diet and was just wondering how many of you are cured from this as it is hard to low carb when dairy is a big part of low carbing!

Hi! I have been celiac for 12 years and followed dairy free about 10. Everytime I try to reintroduce dairy, it doesn't work for me. Cheese is the worst... Depending on stress , I can sometimes have ghee or grass fed butter. I t really isn't hard to not include dairy on low carb but I think I am just so used to it now.

I only had trouble with milk and ice cream, I know within the week of going gluten free I could have milk and not have issues, cheese doesn't have much lactose in it and never had a problem with it, sounds like you have a dairy allergy and that might not change

Bah that was my worst fear!!!!

How can you low carb and not eat cheese, HWC and all of the yummy other stuff????
