Can low carb eating affect blood pressure in one week?

Hi there
On each visit to my doctor or whenever my blood pressure is checked it it always elevated. Not enough for treatment but enough for my doctor to talk to me about lifestyle changes. After a week on a low carb diet I feel good. the first three days I was really grumpy and had the worst headache. Yesterday for the first time in years I have normal blood pressure!!! Could it be the diet working already?

Possibly. Low-carb can be a natural diuretic and some blood pressure meds are nothing more than diuretics, especially if you just have very slightly elevated BP.
