Back Pain with LC
Only 2 days into this low carb/low sugar lifestyle and having bad back pains...I'm only 26. I have also started walking on the treadmill. Is this normal being so achy ??

Its from walking on the treadmill. You have to start slowly.

i have the same issue, since the day i started LC my back hurts everyday,i have been on advil every single day.

BTW i have been working out and doing cardio for years.

Could LC and my backpain be linked?

My back is infinitely better since going low carb four years ago. I was nearly crippled with pain. Now, while I may have twinges, I can actively participat in life.

Is it a pain in your lower back that seems to extend into your thighs?
I had that in the first days and it was constipation . Even though you go ,it might not be all there is.

Thanks for the info. It's getting better.

Walking is supposed to be one of the most natural forms of flexion for the back. It is, unless you are doing it on an incline. My back gives me fits if/when I try to walk up hills. I have to stick to the boring flat roads. Your back can also be greatly determined by your feet/gait. Watch what speed you have your treadmill on and how it changes your gait. My back can go out just from wearing the wrong shoes.

:shake: Glad to hear it! I lost a ton of weight and my pain just kept getting worse and worse. It didn't make any sense to me. I had to go to a chiropractor to figure out that I was walking wrong. Go figure.:dunno:
