Is this the Atkins flu?
I have been low carbing during the work week, and during the weeknd its NO carbs. I allow myself 20 grams of 'bad' carbs during the week-usually gluten free bread.
Last weekend I was tired, but this weekend all I wanted to do was sleep.
Is this a result of severely limiting my carbs?
See if my energy returns. Anybody else experiance this?
I don't know enough to answer but there are folks here who do.
I am two weeks into my restart, and I have periods of fatigue but they tend to pass quickly. I am enjoying the luxury of sleeping as long as my body wants (took a few days leave from work). I was very tired last night and slept a bit longer than usual, but I feel fine today.
My uneducated guess would be that no carbs on the weekend might be a bit much. I also wonder what else in in your gluten free bread?
You might want to supplement diet with vegetables, olives, avacados, a bit of cheese and that sort of thing. How long have you been low-carbing? What plan?
