Gall Bladder Questions....

Anyone out here have had their gall bladder removed and had any issues with the high fat consumption????
symptoms?
general yucky feelings?
God-Awful heartburn, indegestion??!!

what is all of your thoughts, ideas, or general comments?

Had my gallbladder out 9 years ago but never had an issue with high fat consumption, sorry. I only get heartburn from too many carbs or eating ANY grains or if I eat just before bedtime.

No problems here either.....my indigestion usually comes from higher carbs/sugary items or spicy foods.

I had my gallbladder out back in 1996.

I was having problems before I had it removed.

I thought that I had IBS.

I did not have any problems afterward.

In fact, I was able to eat almost anything.

I have had a lot of heartburn lately and cannot take antacids.

I have changed my diet and feel better.

I only have to take a Zantac after pizza, loads of garlic or white bread.

I guess I was very lucky, I only had the one attack, nothing long or drawn out like some unfortunate people. But I was in the hospital for 3 days. my gb was very angry !!

Is it normal to have an upset stomach on LC?? I find that if I keep it simple and keep my carbs down pretty low I don't have any cravings, but I'm nauesous quite a bit.......
