Dandruff

Ok  lets bring up a flaky subject, Dandruff!

The dreaded flakes -

Im just wondering if there is a reason we get it, and how to get rid of it. Preferably naturally.

Any success? Is it a overgrowth of yeast that is the cause? Im kind of suspecting I might have too much yeast swimming around in my body. The sugar cravings etc.

I've had this problem for as long as I can remember. What worked for me was switching to organic shampoo and rubbing warm olive oil against my scalp once every two weeks. It's still a work in progress but I am pleased with the results.

I have psoriasis or some sort of yucky dermatitis. Usually shows up on my scalp, eyebrows, around my nose and my cuticles. I have noticed since I've cut out bread, pasta and sugar that my scalp is much better. It hasn't made a difference anywhere else on my body.

A DR told me to scrub scalp with Nizoral shampoo and let sit on scalp-rinse and repeat. It really helps me.

Nizoral was my go-to a few years ago, then it stopped working for me. I don't know why. But I'm seeing good results with olive oil.
