Protein in urine

I googled and found it could be caused by a lot of things. Dr. didn't recommend a retest until next year. My labs say 10 mg. protein. Cloudy. Should I be concerned?

I don't know...

I'm just looking into this as well as I have very foamy urine and have read that it is because of the proteins in the urine. This whole thing is so scary to me. It's suggested to stay away from the Atkins diet entirely. UGH, are you kidding me?! This has been my way of life since 2001!! It's how I lost all of the extra pounds I was lugging. I'm so overwhelmed by this.

Are you diabetic as well? I think that's what's led my body to this, as I have uncontrolled high blood sugars.

I hope you find your answers.
