Washing the area gently with soap and warm water, to which is added, a capful of antiseptic disinfectant (suitable for cleaning wounds), this will clear it in 2 days. Ultra thin sanitary pads, folded in half longways, placed between the skin folds will keep the area perfectly dry.
When the sweat rash has cleared, wear cotton bikini briefs, as they will provide an absorbent layer between skin folds and prevent a recurrence. Last edited by Minerva; 10-27-2009 at 07:49 PM.. |

Hi, I had the same thing under my breasts when I was pregnant. One of the lacatation consultants was advising me on breastfeeding told me to use regular white vinegar (which I thought would be insanely painful) or to use some over-the-counter vaginal yeast infection cream. I used the cream. I just rubbed a little bit on the rash and it was gone the next day. it was amazing plus you don't have to waste money on a doctor's visit!

I use antibiotic ointment -- I don't even have to use a lot. Just a thin layer does the trick. Works fast.
