Itching on the forearms?

Does anyone get itching just on their forearms? The only thing that gets rid of it is a Benedryl pill, so I am guessing it's a histamine reaction .Topical creams and sprays don't do anything.
I scratch so hard sometimes the skin breaks and bleeds a little. Yes, I am thinking about an appt with my derm doc, my family doc can't pinpoint the irritant. I think it's food based or environmental. Just wondered if anyone had a similar experience.

My uncle lives on some land, and I'll occasionally go up there to help him clear brush and other various activities. But, i've noticed that whenever I come back, my forearms itched like crazy.

Were you out doing anything like that? I found that I was in alot of poison ivy, and that's what was making my arms itch. Not sure if this is relevant at all for you... but that's what caused my forearms to itch.

I got severly itchy forearms when I took CLA... just a thought.

It could be anything.
