3 Day headache ( not LC related )

Have any of you had a headache for 3 days? I have a horrible one. I've tried caffeine and advil but nothing works. I have high BP so I'm kinda scared.

I don't get headaches so when my daughter complains of them, I get very anxious about them. I have friends that have had not such great outcomes from headaches so if it is worrying you - see a doctor. The sooner you get it checked out the sooner you can deal with the cause.

Take care. I hope you get it figured out soon.

I get migraines. I have sensitivity to light, sound, and scent. I have to curl up in a dark room with a cold pack on my head. My sister likes a hot pack. They're hereditary so I'm glad I don't have kids. Awful things, migraines, not children!

Next time you get paid get yourself a home blood pressure checker, they're about $40 at Walmart. That way, when you're having one of these, you can check and see what your pressure is and if you need to see your doc.

Thanks that a really good idea! I think my mom actually has about 3 BP checkers so I'll just get one of hers. Man I'm super tired today but what a relief not having that headache anymore!

I am so glad you feel better!!!

I did not too long ago. The worst of my life! I get ear infections and sinus infections regularly,as well as muscle tension and jaw clenching headaches, but this blew them out of the water.
One thing that helped a little was Ice on the back of my neck.
Amber, I swear to you even Percocet didn't touch that headache.

I have no clue why it went away, I sure didn't do anything to make it go, nothing I did worked, LOL

I have not had once like that since.

There was a little girl who had a little curl, Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good she was very, very good, But when she was bad she was horrid.

I just had a sinus infection maybe that's what is was? I know it wasn't a migraine because I've had those since about age 3 so thats probably what it is! Maybe I should get some antibiotics!

I didn't get antibiotics for a sinus infection for that one. It was a totally different pain from what I get w/sinus infections.

Ohh duh! I misread your other post! I do think my sinuses are bad because I'm really super dizzy. I think that on top of PMS gave me a headache.

I think I might need to go to urgent care when my husband gets home. I haven't thrown up in months when I quit drinking.

When I had labrynthitis (Inner ear inflammation, not the same as ear infection or crystals causing vertigo) It was like having the WORST hangover of my life x100 for several months. I couldn't walk. I was so very grateful that I was not working and my mom and MIL took turns caring for me (DH had already moved to a temp residence in ohio) Gah, it was awful.
I tried to drive myself to the doc but backing out of the driveway made me so dizzy and sick I had to call DD1 (who was in the house) from my cell at the base of the driveway to come and drive me back up and get me inside. I thought I was dying. It was about 6 years ago now.
