How do you know if you have adrenal fatigue? What are the symptoms to look for?

I caught the tail end of an interview on the radio (didn't hear and couldn't find anymore info) with a dr who said that what we are calling adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism, lyme disease, syndrome x, chronic fatigue syndrome and a host of other illnesses are caused or exaserbated by a lack of cholesterol. He said he eats 6 or so eggs a day and should probably be eating more.

I haven't tried googling, I just checked the station's website and couldn't find anything.

No opinion, just sounded interesting.

Gina-

I hate to say this because I didn't hear him, but this guy sounds like a quack. My hypothyroidism is from a disease (Hashimoto's) and it's certainly not due to any lack of cholesterol--since I don't have any 'lack."

As to adrenal fatigue, there have been opinions posted on these threads that it's one of those things that have been over touted to create a market for certain supplements. If you look at the symptoms posted, they are general enough to apply to almost everyone to some degree.

Maybe this will help? There's an adrenal health profile/quiz you can take on the Women to Women site a pp mentioned above (to see if you have symptoms):

Link - Adrenal Health Profile

Also, it looks like the clinic/site has some kind of program. HTH!
