This is the first time I've come back to lc after quitting alcohol for a while, probably a year. I crave carbs like a crazy person after quitting.

This go-round, I've been quit from alcohol for three weeks and quit from carbs for one.

Just induction levels...one salad at lunch and steamed veggies at dinner, proteins and fats fill in the rest.

I'm happy to report I have zero appetite for either alcoholic poison or junky carbs. I feel clean and clear.

I tend to be a "repeat quitter" with pretty much everything, unfortunately.

I think people should never stop trying, and never stop believing.

I feel certain lc is the way to go for alcohol problems.

I have had enough of being a drinker....sick and tired of being sick and tired!
I started today...and have had lots of other beginnings of the week...being alcohol free....I have gained weight the past 6 weeks due to over-indulging..and not being "able" to feel like going to work-out. Stops today!
I want to loose 15lbs...I counted the alcohol calories I was adding to an otherwise very healthy diet...including organics totally...and they added up to 3000 to 4000 a WEEK....NO WONDER! Has anyone here stopped adding those alcohol calories to their diet and started exercising and saw a pretty quic:love:k loss....Thanks tons....Today is a rebirth for Toughintexas!
