no celiac but severely allergic to wheat and rye, allergic to corn and rice and mildly allergic to crab tuna shrimp and barely. That was round one, soy is on the next round....Dr and I assume it will pop as bad as wheat.

Thyroid chasing is on hold since they found a large fibroid tumor on my uterus and a dermoid on my tube and a cystotoma something on my right ovary. took two shots of dilaudid plus toradol and two doses of xanax to get me out of the hospital....and then still had to go straight to the pharmacy to get my pain meds filled. Not the first time I have had 'female' issues, even had a tubal to help when i was 21...So I am prolly looking at total hysterectomy.

The **** of the matter on sept 23 2009 the gyn gave me a clean bill of health told me to seek a shrink and get on mood stabilizers....the woman is so fired and I am filing a complaint, petty I know but the hell I've been through I would not wish on my worst worst enemy. If she had just listened and not called me crazy she might have done a ultrasound and gotten me into surgery before the pain was so bad it took meds stronger than morphine to stop me from crying out in pain.

Sure Yes I have panic disorder that spontaneously appeared in June....but I am not bipolar and they think its my falling progesterone causing the severe and debilitating 911 call inducing panic attacks. The progesterone which the dumb gyn refused to test for....Thankfully for that ambulance ride they found the tumor et al.....

Thanks to everyone whos answered questions and tried to help....I am on the right path now, lets hope this gyn surgeon is a decent one or I will fire his ass too.

never let them tell you its in your head when you know its not, keep fighting until you find the problem..the medical world is so messed up.....

MUCH love my lo carb bothers and sisters.

I went in last week to get labs done. I meet with the Dr on Friday to go over some health concerns I have. But the nurse called today to tell me my results. What she said was everything was normal and the Dr wanted me to just come back in 3 mo to draw labs again. I asked her specifically what my A1C and fasting glucose were.

She said my a1c was 5.2 which is good right?
She said my fasting glucose was 103 which is high isn't it?

Should I be concerned about a fasting glucose this high?

So how am I going to feel after the HIDA?

Also, is it true that advil liquigels can cause more water retention? I thought that they were an anti-inflamatory. Wouldn't logic say that they would cause water to come off then?

I'm suffering from fibromyalgia and I think I'm in the midst of a flare up - the scale keeps going up down up down ridculously so - and I'm having quite a lot of pain. It's kinda discouraging ...

Anyways - any info on fibromyalgia and its relation to weight loss, water retention, low carb, etc. would be greatly appreciated (I know that my rheumatologist told me to eat low carb - I already was.. hahaha )

Thoughts anyone?

I have been doing a little bit of research (will do more today) about Ambien...but for any of you who have used either - I'm just curious what YOUR experiences with either one of these medications is. I'm honestly not one to WANT to rely on something to sleep - however like my husband keeps telling me, "you're not relying on anything now and look where it's gotten ya..."

so I will be talking to my doc about one or the other as well tomorrow.

But I'm curious what all of your experiences are with them. I appreciate it!
