callanetics results help

Hello!! I would like to ask you some questions about callanetics!
I recently started doing the 10/10 video ,so far I've completed 18 hours but I haven't seen dramatic results especially in my hips which is my problem area,should I look for another callanetics dvd or wait a few more hours?
I don't care much about weight loss but I want to drop a couple of dress sizes(I am a 10 right now) I don't do cardio apart from walking because I dont like it,I really like the 10/10 video not so much the other ones but if it's not giving me results I'm willing to switch..


Regarding weight loss,does callanetics help at all? I'm not willing to diet especially if I lose the inches I want(about 3 from waist,hips and 1 around thighs)

PS how soon can I expect more flexibility?I find it tough during the stretches!

Hi!

A couple of quick questions.

1) Did you take your measurements before starting Callanetics?

2) Have you taken your measurements since starting Callanetics?

If not take your measurements, that is one of the best ways to see results.

3) Are your clothes fitting differently?

Another way to *see* results, your clothes may look/feel baggy.



Those are my before and after results Callanetics 5x a week and was doing WW at the time. It took about 3 months to get those results.

so far i've done about 20 hours and I'm pretty sure i'm doing the exercises correctly (exept the stretches ,my flexibility is not so good) and i've lost only about half an inch from my waist and hips -no change in clothes,that's why I was wondering..:/

Don't worry about it, some people see results quite quickly, others takes a little more time.

Just keep up with Callanetics and you'll see results!

Hello iwsam.

We are all students of Callanetics. Some of us are more outspoken about it.

Let me begin by applauding your choice of fitness program. No other program will deliver like consistent practice of Callanetics. I would encourage you to join us over in the monthly challenges for motivation and success stories. I've learned so much in my journey with Callanetics over the past year and share much of that on the challenge threads. There are so many caring voices there to help you find the success you deserve.

I can share that my body started to really respond somewhere between 20-30 sessions. The better I got at relaxing and lengthening along the body's counter extensions the deeper the muscles affected and the more dramatic the results became. The better I was at aligning my body properly the faster the results came. Slowly but surely the results will come and as you continue to be consistent in your practice the excitement will only grow.

There are new and incredible things going on in the world of Callanetics. I regularly go googling to see what's new. I would encourage you to do the same. I am continuously surprised at what turns up.
