started low carb and exercising

Hello,
Started low carb Atkins induction phase 3 days ago. I was doing cardio before I started the diet. I notice that it is harder to do the same cardio exercises. How long should I expect before my body adjusts to not using carbs for fuel during workouts?
Thanks

I too am wondering about this. I have been at 20 gram induction levels for 4 weeks and I am still struggling with my energy for my runs. Prior to low carbing, I had no problems running a mile, now it is a struggle.

You could try having some protein before and after your workouts. I try to drink a protein shake before and after and I think it helps me a lot for muscle repair and energy.

Thanks!
I am starting to perform better now. It's still difficult but not as bad so I guess my body is beginning to adjust.

I am usually between 20 to 30 net grams of carbs. Yes, I can't run as far or exercise as hard as I used to, but it is slowly getting better. I hope your run get's better soon.
