zumba, still a good work out?

So I never did zumba before yesterday. I love music, I love to dance! I even did the dvd that "teaches" the steps.
I stuck! I never realized how not good I am at dancing until yesterday!
So my question is, is it still a good workout? And does it get easier in time? My husband good me "zumba incredible results" and I really want to use it and make it work, don't want to waste the money...

Ahhh Bacon, I'm sure it will get better as you go on. It's always clumsy the first few times you try something new. Allow yourself to be a bit dorky at dancing and stick it out. I sense you will grow into it and it would be a good match for your boundless energy. Go for it girl. Have fun.

Hello,
Everybody is "clumsy" at zumba when just starting out. If you continue to go once or twice per week you'll see that there is a routine and you will soon figure it out. Zumba is a great exercise. I recommend hiding in the back of the class. Nobody will see you - hehehehe. They were all clumsy at first too. Don't feel bad! Go for it is right! It's a quick hour of fun exercise.

I really want to try zumba but I'd have to do it at home so I hope I can rent some dvds or maybe just you tube it before buying any dvds....might even get it for the Wii....
