Snack sausages
Protein mix to put into coffee or diet soda
Tuna in foil packs or small cans

Sturdy vegetables like celery will be fine without refrigeration for a day or so

Anytime Karen. Go with the flow and do the best you can. 1.5 # a week is doable. A trip away would be good for everyone. As long as Mom is ok.

Jazz a trip to the zoo sounds like fun. I haven' t been in several years. I think the last one was in New Orleans. That was before the hurricane. I bet you are worn out.

Deb a new routine. Yippee

Mary walk on!

Lynn did you trainer get you moving?

walked 29 miles
15X WT sessions (3 with trainer)
4X Zumba Class
2X Kickboxing Cardio Class
2X water aerobics
1X GTS (total gym)

27 hours of exercise..

For September, walked 137 miles or 342,500 steps

Will be going to the gym on rainy days. May look into trainer too. What do they charge these days for 5 sessions?

Weighed in at 148 lbs, down 1 lb.
In maintenance range.

Did stretches and 3 planks this morning.

Down 1# today to 191.0.
Will continue to list my weight.
DH just turned it into a competition. That may help me stay on track. He is 226.5 this morning. Down 3.5 in 2 days. We will see how this goes

4 mile walk today...

Mary ,
you asked about the cost of a trainer... mine was $99- for 3 sessions.. or 8 for $220....each time she shows me different ways, machines, ball, weights, kettle weights...I bought a ball now and looked up some exercises on you tube...

I am trying to get 2-3 cardio classes a week... it is so much fun getting older..

Lynn

Had a great work out at the gym, think I'm going to start up with the 30 min circuit again. Maybe 3 days a week. Walked 8500 so far today, going to finish up with my nightly walk. Feels great. I love fall.

Yesterday made made my 10,000 steps and had a great workout at the gym.

Cheryl hope your feeling better

Lynn your right planks are hard but great for abs. I can't do very many. I use the ball at the gym. They have a chart on the wall that shows you all kinds of exercise you can do on the. Love it

Jazz going to rain for a few days, Now I have to think of how to get my steps in. What do you do on rainy day. I did get a walking DVD which I haven't tried yet.

Karen we have a big tower on Mt. Grey lock and I'll never go up it again. I'm afraid of heights, never thought I get back down.

Mary wtg on your steps. I see your from New England, I love my Pats. I'm from Mass.

Misty, great job!

On rainy days, I walk at home on the treadmill, or in the mall. Love the mall run. You get to people watch and shop and browse. Love my treadmill, too. My DH installed a TV on the wall the treadmill faces so I can watch Netflix and Hulu. I get bored easily.
