10,000+ steps and 51 very active minutes for me today.

I was seriously dragging after work, think it was because I forgot to drink water earlier in the day and got myself dehydrated. It was 95ish again today. 9 cups of water later, feeling much better.

Mary, thanks for your help on the walking FIT.. did you get it in Target???

Trainer 2 days ago, and I can still feel my stomach muscles tight..

Walked 3 miles yesterday, getting ready to walk a 5K (3.1 miles)..Why do they call it a 5K???

To the gym today, I have 4 classes to choose from.. spinning, water aerobics..GTS (Called GTS pilates, my trainer does it).. and Cardio X (I did this last week a lot of kickboxing)...and it is going to rain today so I am glad I have the gym..

I have another training session tomorrow..

Lynn, looks like you have a great plan for the week! And hooray for tight muscles!

Best of luck on the 5K walk! They call it 5K because 3.1 miles is about 5 kilometers.

I got my Walking Fit Watch from Rite Aid Pharmacy. Every so often they go on sale for 29.99. It normally sells for 39.99. You can also find them on Amazon. Target might have them but I can't say for sure.

Walked 12,500 steps today. Off to bed early as I am really tired today. SWTA's

Good going on the " Lynn. Lots of diversity at your gym. Sounds like you have a great trainer.

You girls are making my steps look puny!

10000+ and 32 VAM. 2 sets wall push ups and squats.

Hi girls, great job, everyone!

10,000+ steps and 48 very active minutes for me.

I've been looking into the other FitBit that's like a bracelet but I wonder, would it count steps when you raise or swing your arms during normal daily activity like putting away dishes, etc.....? Since it's attached to one's arm..... How would it distinguish between arm swinging and actual walking? It just looks more comfortable to wear ......

Delayed surgery til tomorrow, so another day..... She just needs to get rid of pain,..

Helped Dad make tomato juice tonight. Not my first choice, but it didn't hurt me any, and he enjoyed the company. He is much more social creature than Mom....

Lynn it sounds like your trainer is super. Wow.

Karen. Did Mom do ok? You made tomato juice? I've never thought of that. Quality Dad time. I miss mine.

Jazz there used to be a fitbit thread. I don't have any idea how they work

Tomato juice is sooooo easy to make. And Dad enjoyed the company.

Mom found no cancer. Removed lots of colon. Entire pelvic area filled abscess of infection.

We will see how recovery goes, but now she can start eating again. Very weak, and she fell while in hospital.....knee and hip hurt now. But stomach pain may be gone.

Now I have to get back at losing weight!!!! You guys are great.

Wow Karen no wonder she has been so sick and miserable. I would say she has a way to go before she feels better but at least she is finally on the way. I'm glad the fall didn't break anything. Keep us posted.
