It's actually a very smart thing to do! To make sure you have the correct weight......one of my scales can give 3 different weights within minutes of each other, off by 1-2 lbs.....

10,000+ steps and 80 very active minutes. I sat without moving much till noon, so then I had to pick up the pace to catch up and get to my goal steps. Sooooo, I ended up walking on my treadmill and outside, hence the high number of very active minutes.

It's barely 6 pm so I'm hoping for another 1,000 steps or so before bedtime.

Deb, sore means you've been working hard. Hope your muscles relax soon.

Mary, 12,500 steps is great! Wonderful that your husband has been cleared to return to work and daily activities.

Karen, I had a mini trampoline once upon a time. At the time DS was young and ended up appropriating it. It was great indoor exercise for him. They say rebounding helps one's lymphatic system drain better and should be done daily.

Cheryl, it was your breath I was hearing in my ear! We had almost the same amount of very active minutes. When I do a bit of walking frequently throughout the day (the way I should be), I get less VAMs. But if I slack or work and can't do it, and then push myself to go fast so I can reach the 10 K steps, I end up with a lot of VAMs (like today). Thing is, being a teacher, I'm required to work with the students in small groups sitting around a table all day. So, I get only about 3 - 4,000 steps between 7 am and 4 pm. I get up at 4:45 to walk before work, and then push to get done after 4.

Lizzy, hope your back heals soon. Bending forward to pick up your baby is definitely aggravating it.

Mrskuby, I am also interested in how your hot yoga went.

Lynn, your gym sounds like a great place with so much variety!

I know this is not a recipe thread, but thought I would mention it....I'm into fat bombs now. My LC plan leans toward Nutritional Ketosis, which has worked great for me, so fat bombs are a great way to get the fat in. I'm making my first batch of fat bombs today.

Jazz what would your students think if you took off walking laps around the room every so often
I agree with the cartoon! I haven't tried fat bombs. Are they all in coffee?

Deb do you have a spa/hot tub or sauna at your gym? Good on sore muscles

Lynn good going.

Mary good job and on DH checking out ok.

I'm with Deb, you probably need electrolytes, like magnesium, zinc, sodium, etc....Also, you may get charlie horses when you're dehydrated. So, plenty of water and electrolytes should be helpful.

Like I posted on the other thread
I bought these from Costco and I have been drinking flavored water
everyday
so easy to use and cheap to buy
I think $20.00 for the 2

and today I bought a HUGE bag of limes for $5.00 at Costco

Deb and Eliza,

Thanks for your comments about my leg cramps... I am trying to drink more water... I also need to put a bar of soap under my sheets... it really works..funny but it was said the soap has to start with a D (dial, dove).. I took care of an 80 year old that told me about it...and then I read about it in the paper...

Have you heard of it???

Sunday, got a really ugly tax return done....and almost finished one partner's personal.
DH and I went to Des Moines to Menards Sunday night, instead of being couch potatoes

Saturday got 1 return done, and 3 hrs serving ice cream at a bank Appreciation Day. Did go out and do horse chores both days, but didn't make time to ride. Short motorcycle ride on Friday night, but drove by an accident and stopped.......DH went to get the towtruck, so I went home

Open House for new building on Wednesday afternoon, so tomorrow will be working and cleaning in between client things.....

No work today, so went to the gym early for an hour of workour and then half hour treadmill. Been walking with my pedometer and finally go up to 10000 after 2 days of using it. Got to ask do you keep in on all day? Or just when you go out walking.

Lynn I know friends that use the soap between the sheets at the foot of the bed and they also say that it works great.
