Fat Amy is from Pitch Perfect.. a movie she is played by Rebel Wilson.

Not moving much here at all. Celebrex and flexeril and rest....still stiff and sore. Asher is cutting another tooth so he is crying and whinny and I can't carry him.

Can I join your group? I have been walking more than 10.000 steps a day since the first of the month. Prior to that I was averaging 8k to 8600k steps a day. Weekends leave me lots of opportunity to grow!

Deb, get back on the trail, young lady!

Lynn, great going!

Lizzy, hope your back heals soon.

Cheryl, walking buddy, how was your day today?

Misty, KUTGW!

10,000 steps and 40 very active minutes.

Today is my 60th day anniversary of starting a walking (10K step) program, and I have walked 256.2 miles and over 600,000 steps within those 60 days. And most importantly, didn't miss a day, which was my goal....to be consistent. Despite weighing as much as I do.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Mary. Jump right in. We have several walkers

Deb maybe you just need to scale back a little. You've been goin hot and heavy on the exercise. the bears are over running your path.

Good job Jazz. 60 days! Over 600,000 steps. I had to go look mine up. 505, 000+. I'm lagging behind you.

Lynn I would love a beach walk

Lizzy do what you can. Some movement will help your back.

10000 + steps and 31 very active minutes.

Doing better today. I hope to do some walking tomorrow. I can bend over and Pick Asher up without holding my breath. I'll just walk around the house and streets.

Bending forward from your waist, like we do when we pick up a child, apparently could throw your back out. This is per my osteopath who told me not to bend forward even to brush my teeth.

Great job, Eliza. Today, DH and I went for a hike in our local park. We are very lucky because it was a couple old farms that had some hills. It used to be called Benson's Animal farm and they had zoo animals and with ponds and trails. The Animal Park is gone, but the town bought the property and through a community effort and cleared brush, planted grass and bushes and flowers and made it a most beutiful free park to bring your children, dogs and families for picnics, and games. There is no swimming, but a little fishing. Bikes are allowed. Just old fashion fun. We walked the blue trail and I did 2-1/2 to 3 miles. I will get over 12,000 steps in today.

Great job Trini, Lynn, Mary, Lizzy, and everyone I may have unintentionally missed.

10,000+ steps so far, and since it's only 5:30 pm, probably another 1K steps by bedtime. And 55 very active minutes.

Yesterday and today. We have done over 3000 cups of ice cream. That should count for activity. Just showered and set for quiet when tow call came in............

That's a lot of ice cream! Hope the tow call wasn't too bad or long.

Jazz good job. Thanks for the positive pix.

Mary sounds like a beautiful place to walk

Lynn I have few friends taking Zumba. They love it.

Trini farm work is hard. Especially in the heat.

Lizzy glad things are improving

Deb careful on your bear run. Don't let them hug you.

Some pedometers keep track of level of activity.

FitBit keeps track of high levels of activity like Karen said. When we go to their site, after the wireless upload, and if you're on the Beta dashboard, there is a tile that tells you how many of the minutes you moved around are considered "very active". If I find a picture of the tile I'll post it here.

I made a printscreen of my FitBit dashboard for yesterday. If you look on the 2nd row right, you'll see the tile for very active minutes. There are also tiles for calories, distance, steps, etc. Click on the thumbnail to see a bigger version.

That's the kind I have, but mine is lime green. It does come with a clip and it's tiny and light, I clip mine on my bra. So no arm band needed.

There is another Fitbit that also tracks sleep and looks like a rubber bracelet, not very fancy..... I like the first kind though because it has a display and you can see how many steps, etc. you've walked.
