Yes, it does. And bouncing around in the Towtruck also makes the pedometer count. I am not sure about the motorcycle.......

Do I do things weird, or what I have an interesting life

Kids are feeling better.
Just over 10,000 steps yesterday.

When I am on the motorcycle my fitbit goes insane. I'm talking 30,000 steps and 200 flights of stairs! I have to go into my log and change my activity to "riding in a car" for the time I was on the motorcycle so that it subtracts steps and stairs.

When I ride a pedal bike, it counts some pedals. I let them stay!

Paula, wow, 200 flights of stairs! I guess I need to buy a motorcycle.

Glad your babies are feeling better.

Slow day for me today....allergies, upset stomach, possibly dehydrated.....Didn't move much all morning except to vacuum the downstairs floors and the stairs. I was just dragging. Not a good example of being active at all. Then I got on the treadmill for a bit and am currently at 4134 steps. A long way to go yet, maybe another round on the treadmill.

10,002 steps.

Congrats, Cheryl, you've been doing great! How are you enjoying your FitBit? The FitBit website is apparently under maintenance and mine is not currently sync-ing.

The Fitbit site says the Fitbit can store data for 7 days do you don't have to worry. It will do it when the site is up again.

I love it so far.

Sick kids again. Finally figured it out - hand, foot and mouth disease.

I went to work today and downtown for a conference. Parked a few blocks away, so I am at 11,000 steps today!

Way to go ladies!

Paula, hope your kiddos feel better soon. I have no idea what the treatment for h,f,m disease is.....

I'm at around the 7,000 step mark right now and my FitBit is sticking its tongue out at me like this .....hoping to get to 10,000 today. Which reminds me I need to go walk

Slowish day today, I've been feeling under the weather. Plus, my dog decided to have a barky night and wouldn't let me sleep.

6,383 steps so far, will try for 8,000 for today.

Hope you get some rest tonight Eliza

I made a little over 7000 steps. Worked out in the yard going up and down hill carrying limbs to the shoreline to burn. So the were hard steps??

Kids are feeling better.
Less than 5000 steps yesterday. I forgot to put my fitbit on the first 2 hours of my day, which is when I did some yard and house work.

I was being lazy up till noon lounging around bed and reading a book. It's my summer vacation and my kid is grown, so I'm on my own schedule. During the school year I get up at 5:30 a.m., so it's a real treat to be able to lounge about doing whatever I want.

DH and DS invited me to go to the movies with them to some movie where big robots blow each other up, but I declined. I got on the treadmill instead and put in an hour of walking. Then I cleaned, so I'm nearing 6,000 steps.

Great job, Cheryl! Oh yeah, dragging stuff up the hill should count as at least triple the steps, it is so rigorous.

Paula, woohoo, kids are feeling better What a relief it is for a mom. It sucks when you forget to put on the FitBit, I did that once. I bet you put in at least another 2,000 or more steps in the first 2 hrs.

I just wanted to say it's wonderful to walk toward better health with you, girls. It's helped me to have someone to be accountable to, in a way. Keeps me on the straight and narrow.
