Cheryl I am doing a bit better, thanks so much for asking. At least my nose opened up, lol.....

6- 8 K steps is a solid level of activity...I wouldn't call it relaxing exactly Are your fatigue levels lessening with this new regimen?

Our "just do something challenge" August thread is locked, not sure why. I didn't see a Sept. edition.....

7650 today. I just did 1100 of them on the new treadmill.
It is not ideal for me to walk inside, but at least it helped me meet my minimum goal of 7500.

Good going Paula. Tread comes in handy in bad weather- hot or rain or ice. And you don't wear a path in the carpet.

You were pretty active Jazz. I'm feeling pretty good again. How about you?

Cheryl, yes, today I'm feeling human again! Thanks so much for asking. Now to catch up on all the work that piled up while I was sick.

Funny thing is, walking was helping open up my lungs and nostrils for some reason. I'm so glad I kept up with it, even though it was toooooooooooough.

Today is my 60th day anniversary of starting a walking (10K step) program, and I have walked 256.2 miles and over 600,000 steps within those 60 days.

Eliza. What an accomplishment! Where do you find miles walked? I found steps but not miles.

Mary this is different thread just for us walkers trying for 10000 or more steps a day. Come on here too.

10000 steps with 31 very active.

I add them up manually day by day. Also, on the regular, not beta dashboard, there is a tab on the right hand side called "achievements".....if you click on that, it will give you the lifetime miles, steps, stairs, etc. walked.

Oh no! That must be frustrating. You should feel good, though, because you did walk your steps, it's just that they didn't register. I noticed today while on the fitbit website, that it shows my battery only half full. guess it's time to go stock up on some CR2025s.

I'm on medium right now. Thanks for sharing this. Guess I should go buy the replacement batteries right away.

I'm so used to wearing the Fitbit all the time, it will be weird for it to stop working.

My hubby thinks that the new battery (it's an Energizer) will last longer. I hope so!
Got over 6000 so far today. If I take doggy on 2 more walks I should make over 10,000. I will go to the park tomorrow and walk the long trail so that should be good!

10,000+ steps so far, and since it's only 5;30, probably another 1K steps by bedtime. And 55 very active minutes.

Kismet, I went shopping today and forgot to buy the batteries. I will get Energizer, too, thanks for the suggestion, don't want to mess with cheapo batteries that will drain quickly.

My hubby said they probably put in cheapo/old batteries to begin with. Oh well, live and learn!
