10,002 steps in. Can't sync the FitBit though, FitBit Connect tells me the site is undergoing maintenance. Hope they finish soon because I only have a bit over 5,000 steps recorded there. They should do their maintenance at 3 a.m. or something.

Unfortunately, the app on my android phone doesn't work for some reason, and there is no iPad App.

July 19th- I finished a 15min cardio workout that used dumbbells. Got a pretty good sweat from it. I never did get in that jump rope workout yesterday hopefully, seeing that today is a little cooler I can get one in later this evening.

8,124 steps and I'm thinking of calling it a night. Or I may try another 15 min of walking.

I only made a little over 7000 steps. But a lot of those steps were in 90+ heat dragging limbs down the slope to the shoreline to burn and then walking back up the slope. I was awake most of Friday night because a banging noise kept waking me. It turned out to be branches from a tree hitting the metal roof on the back porch. So tree trimming time.

Back to the gym this morning, but got plenty of other exercise all weekend. Alot of swimming and walking. Sounds like everyone is doing great with walking. Got to get myself and new pedometor and start keeping track. I always start my gym with the treadmill, for 30 min so that a good start on my am walking.

Gym again this morning with circuit training. Going to try and get in my walk but it's been raining off and on today.

Karen glad your Mom is hope. Hope Gs and DD get better fast. All the work you've been doing sounds like exercise to me.

July 23- Walked 2 1/2 miles. Weather was nice today warm but windy/a nice breeze. So I made the10min drive to my old university and I walked it's 'sidewalk perimeter.' Then I took a long detour to get back to my car so about 2 1/2 miles is what I walked today. It's amazing the activity and movement we can do if we just get up and do it.
