Yeah. But it gets me going which is what I need. Sometimes it stick to my skin- I wear it on my waistband and I unstick it and it works again. But I think I will look again today for the Fitbit.

I end up doing skip rope 3-4 times , trip. I was really good at it as a kid. You must be in good shape to do 20 minutes.

Hi Everyone, hi Cheryl

I've recently started a new walking program. May I join you? My goal is to get as close to 10,000 steps every day as possible. I've been doing quite well so far on most days I get 8,000 - 10,000 steps..then there is some days like yesterday when I did only a bit over 5,000. Trying to establish good movement and activity habits. Used to be very sedentary which resulted in a multitude of unpleasant effects, such as being obese and insulin resistant.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Eliza!

Eliza is the one I copied the article about movement from.

I went to Best Buy and got a Fitbit. I have it synced and on. It is so tiny and lightweight.

Hi Deb, and thank you! I walk because at over 300 lbs most other forms of exercise are off limits to me ....for now. Hopefully, in the future, I could do more intense stuff.

Sorry the pic above came out too big. And, for some reason, the edit button is missing or I would've deleted it.

They are $59 everywhere I looked.

I wanted a color so I could find it. I had trouble finding my phone when it was black. My old pedometer was purple. It was found many times hopefully this one doesn't take nature walks.

Yeah, that's the reason I picked an outrageous color, have lost pedometers many a time because they were black. I wonder if you can paint the holder with something or get just the holder in another color.

Deb, that's a quite a pretty picture. I love black, and for fitness purposes, bright accents make it so cute and sporty.

I imagine something like this...

Misty and Deb are gym rats ! Good going.

I saw on the Fitbit site you can order different colored holders. Maybe order several colors and color coordinate with my clothes

Deb, you love storms? I see you're in BC. I lived in the Seattle area for a long time. The marine layer made the weather mild but the grey all around was a bit too much. When we first moved to TX with all that sunshine, I didn't know what to do with myself.
